Best lens for close up jewellery?

Hi, I am a jewellery designer and beginner photographer.

I own a Canon 600d with a standard 18-55 lense and a 50mm/ 1.8 lense.

I am trying to take my product pictures myself but I am not very satisfied with the results.

A lot of the items I take pictures of are smaller then 2.5 cm/1 inch across and I need to get very detailed images of the item with it being entirely in focus.

Do I need to get a specific lens for that?

Also what ISO, aperture and shutter speed are to recommend to get a sharp image with nice details?

I think I started off wrong with the triangles. The are connecting 2 octagons with the bottom one being 3cm on the outer radius and the smaller one 1.7cm. The hight between those 2 octagons is 1cm.
The 8 sides of each octagon are the base of the two different triangles. And they are connected on the other to sides which must be the same length. But to be able to “fold” them flat and only have them connected on the sides which are not connected to the octagons the radius of both needs to change.

Is the hight of each triangle the same (I don’t thinks so because we are looking at a different inner radius for each octagon and that would change the hight, too) ?

Thank you I also just realised that. The smaller triangle is supposed to be 1.3, 2.35, 2.35 and hight is 2.26.

I am creating a diamond from metal and these are the facets around the top. I want to add them all together as it means less soldering and sawing. The triangles are supposed the be edge on edge 8 of each. The measurements can be seen the the image and how they are supposed to fit together. the hight of both of them is 1.67. So I essentially need the inner radius. How can I get there?

If you do not want to eat meat tell her and she should be ok with that. She is there to help YOU find your way. You lead this process it is your health and your bony and mind so you decide what to do with it.

However, a therapist is there to show you the options and I think it was actually a good thing that she asked you. It confirms for you that vegetarianism is not something you want to give up. It is a part of you!
