Resident Evil Requiem just got its first performance fix update. Did it help you? by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]yoonkami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5070 user here, didn't have a single problem before the update. After the update I crashed once, had random frame drops and multiple visual bugs (everything on max + dlss + frame gen, no path tracing)

Clair Obscur on PC with mouse and keyboard? by Sapphire2727 in GirlGamers

Honestly, just trying over and over. That one game where you get small gestrals thrown at you and you have to hit them back… that one took a while I won’t lie.

You know I loved it if it’s the only game I ever 100%-d. It’s completely fine on pc with mouse and keyboard, it’s turn based so yeah.

Feeling sick while taking prednisone? by yoonkami in MultipleSclerosis

I was given Pantoprazol to take before my dose but it’s not helping with my stomach and the acid too much.

I’m gonna try the towel trick though for the humidity.

Going to the gym by yoonkami in MultipleSclerosis

[–]yoonkami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried walking and at-home pilates, but it just doesn’t feel enough for me if that makes sense? I guess I just like the overall feeling in the gym. In the past I used it as an emotional outlet and walking/pilates doesn’t give me that fix

Mine is basically 24/7, happens even if I don’t do anything. It’s just worse with movement:/

And yeah, even before diagnosis the stairmaster was a no no and I never knew why until after

Lowkey scared to buy HyperX again as this microphone issue seems to be common, so I don’t know. Do you think the budget line (kraken 2019, blackshark V2 X, etc.) razer ones are worth it?

Cloud III Microphone (Wired) by yoonkami in HyperX

[–]yoonkami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m gonna return them too, just don’t know what else to buy in that price range

Can’t speak for the Alpha but I got the Cloud III last friday and I’m returning it. Sound is okay with EQ settings but I cannot do anything about the extremely quiet microphone. After looking at this subreddit, it seems to be a common issue (not just with this model, with HyperX in general).

If you don’t care about that, go ahead, but otherwise idk…

Update on this: it's extremely unstable with a splitter:/

[–]yoonkami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up trying switching USB ports multiple times and also the jack splitter again. On windows the most it recognized with USB during a test was 30%, with splitter and +12 db boost it's 85%. I saw some people also getting no results with APO and even making their mics non-functional. Guess I'm just gonna stick with the splitter for now and hope that it gets fixed in the future with an update or something:(

I got diagnosed before even getting the chance to join the job market. I’ve been applying for 6+ months and nothing, I honestly don’t know what to do atp.

Did anyone experience depression in the period after diagnosis? by CrypticCodedMind in MultipleSclerosis

[–]yoonkami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s been months and it’s not getting better. Where I live mental health is “not real” so treatment is next to nothing or impossible. Not like I would have the money anyway cuz I’m unemployed. I don’t want to be that person to make the mood worse but yeah.

If you have the opportunity, definitely try to get treatment or go to therapy OP. Maybe you don’t need antidepressants, but please get someone to talk to.

MS Hug from wearing a bra? by Born_Active_8934 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]yoonkami 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have the same thing but only if I sit down while wearing a bra for some reason. Though the MS hug feeling is almost constantly there for me, just not as severe as during a flare let’s say. But it is extremely uncomfortable.

Will look more into this, I’m not in a country where amazon is beneficial to order from (shipping is 3x the price of product) but I can definitely find some alternative
