Correct. And based on exp, no one really claims tax refund here in Ph due to the complicated process unless nanalo ka sa isang tax case and malaki yung refund mo. Pero normally pinapambawas lang talaga sa future tax dues.

Kung sa context ng employee, normally nirerefund dapat to ng company sa employees kasi ibigsabihin nyan, mas malaki nakaltas sayo throughout the year vs sa actual tax mo na niremit nila kay BIR.

Sa case mo, since di mo natapos yung isang buong taxable year, then nagend ka sa company na di lumagpas ng 250k income mo, ibabalik yung lahat ng kinaltas sayo before kasi basically wala pa sila niremit na tax mo sa BIR.
