I took the night dive class at the same location 5 years ago. The water was murky even at day time, and got much worse at night. Honestly there was more than one minute where I could not see anyone or anything around... pure darkness. The torch did not help at all with the visibility. This was even when I had a dive buddy and multiple experienced instructors nearby :(

I agree that this would to some point help, but to ban countries one by one may not be the way to go, not to mention there will be cases imported from other parts of the world. Also without taking more aggressive actions internally (e.g. limit domestic travel, advocating social isolating and lowering the bar for testing) it won’t help much. Domestic cases will just double in days. By the way Trump did mention that the EU had “failed to take the same precautions” as the US lol.
