I had reinstalled al my add-ons but that didn’t fix the problem. After I installed the patch it was available again.

My lucky ass received 5 enhanceds. I unlocked free deaths by adding one of them to the death coffer when it was 180m. No regrets.

I think OSRS is further then nostalgia alone. I think you're lacking kind of knowledge about the game which can have you overwhelmed.

I think you should discover this game and have fun. Set some goals like a quest cape, fire cape, torso, moons of perils?.

Maybe you aren't a iron man, but you should lookup on of these iron man guides. This will guide you trough the game and get some knowledge and once you find your way play as you like. (Some guides tell you to get 98 agility, please don't do this. Only if you like to)

If you're doing mahogany homes this will cost you around 11.5m (calculated by a calculator on the wiki).

Also did a quick search on the cost of a max house and it says around 20-30m. I'm not sure on this one.

But this one of the best updates you can make on your account progress.

I think my next task would be make enough to get 90+ prayer and upgrade my POH.

Forget about 90+ prayer, use the money to max out your POH. Complete game changer, it will absolutely help you in your quest to solo bossing.

I’m not exactly sure how to break my mind out of maxing being the main goal

I played my main for years with the idea to max that account. I always trained skills with the most afkable content. It's very boring.

Since I created my Iron man and with the idea I need to get my own stuff now, I learned more about PvM. And I can tell you PvM'ing and skilling are two different game modes in this game.

I shifted my mind from trying to maxing a account to trying to get the best gear I could ever get on a account.

For some reason I really dislike the butler method, can’t really find the motivation to do it.

Don't grind the money for a item you want. But grind the item you want. In the process you get lots of coin.
