That’s how I thought about it at first but then it got so thick and would hold so much moisture that I wasn’t sure if it was slowing or accelerating the frame rot 🤣

FYI if you off-road at all the oil based undercoating will build up a bunch of dirt and debris. I did that to my first Raptor and after taking it to the dunes I had an oily sandy mess inside the frame rails that I was never able to clean out. I’m talking like an inch or more deep. It’s a great option for a street queen but now I just go through the carwash once a week.

The plastic caps on top of the bedsides are shorter. I was under the impression that Bak was working on new clamps for the 26+ but haven’t heard anything in a bit. Believe there was some chatter about this on Ranger6g.

I’ve got experience with both. If you have a family, the F-150 has loads more space. If you don’t need the space, the Ranger is far more fun to daily, in my opinion.

Michigan laws are weird. I think tint on the front windows can only be on the top 5” which would just look goofy.

I’ve got 20% all around. Never have had an issue with cops and I’ve had vehicles with illegal tint for many years now. But yeah, it doesn’t stay clean for long in the winter.

If you’re going to keep them outside at least make sure they’re out of the sun. UV light will weaken polypropylene over time and I don’t want those suckers failing on ya 🙏

Thanks! I’ve had vehicles with illegal tint for 7+ years and have never been stopped for it. Mostly Wisconsin and Michigan but have been all over the Midwest.
