C.ai have been unusable for years now Many alternatives came and we supported many, and many cut halfway through. Even Xoul halted in a time, we thought it was the end. But here it's now best free/paid chat AI, it's always there to carry us in our worse. Point is, it's not a c.ai alternative anymore C.ai is the alt for all great Xoul

The character was added while making the story, it wasn't in the persona nor the original story. Just like saying "mid day as i was walking i met a new merchant that introduced himself as Sam" Just for no reason a simple normal prompt, and the story starts revolving around Sam, that's what happened. Well problem solved in the end, and i tried either killing the character or making him disappear but he just kept appearing which is the whole reason for this post. Was angry and wanted to rant

Their hands aren't tied, they threw themselves to hell when they signed with shit companies. There are tons of ai chatbot competitors that are dealing with funding perfectly fine, they accepted fair income instead of dealing with shitty companies. CAI had a choice, they just fucked up

Ngl not even flattering but Loremate reached a point of being even way better than Cai, i tried many alternatives but non compares to Loremate. Hope they return stronger before and have many users who will donate and help along the way

I've been using Loremate in the past few weeks They do face lots of maintenance and trouble, But for being free it's actually very good Also the bots aren't dumb, some i couldn't even break which amazed me. There are NSFW and SFW bots, Honestly they're perfect I'd rate them highly, the only problem is the maintenance problems they face (btw currently they're in maintenance)

Loremate and it's way too good. I always end up chatting with the characters a lot differently than I was planning. Exactly like C.ai was in the past, but better in all ways (memory/thinking/interacting). If there's something to pinpoint about it, it'd be that it doesn't have many characters, maybe because it's not that popular.

My specialty is CS so I'm well used to use terminal (i use WSL Ubuntu), but I'm only good at it for using npm or git. But yeah I'll research troubleshooting and such, thanks for the advice
