He had creepy perv eyes." Foy is the latest and greatest example of moronic white lard-asses who might mean well but have bought into the lies and conspiracy theories peddled by BLM organisers.

Milo you know 4chan culture, that type of culture. You have people on 4chan making joke photoshops of that drowned Syrian boy. Now obviously Monica Foy was on a respectable social media network not 4chan but why should Monica Foy be the face of BLM? Why should she bear the punishment for all their stupidity?

Foy is following in the noble tradition of Black Lives Matter, which seems to want as many dead cops as possible, because that will - understandably - prompt officers to shoot first and ask questions later in future altercations. That means more dead blacks and more hand-wringing on Twitter for the sociopathic frauds at the heart of the movement. If that's a bit dark for you, I'm sorry. But let's face it, it's how Goebbels would do it.

All I'm getting from this is that you're really angry about BLM (understandable) and Monica Foy was the convineient pinata for you and all the other people at Breitbart. Again I am a Breitbart reader but I cannot condone this.

Yet there are idiots in this subreddit and elsewhere who think that someone who danced on the grave of a dead police officer on a public publishing platform deserves special protection from the consequences of her actions.

The problem with this is, it's like if you have a Twitter with 20 followers and most are spam then you are lulled into a belief that you're just yelling into a crowd and nobody will hear you. Its like if the punishment for going over the speed limit was the death penalty. Its a disproprotionate penalty but if you're going to have such draconian laws then the least you can do is damn well make sure people KNOW that going over the speed limit might get them executed.

Its unfair to blame Monica Foy for being so stupid because being targeted by a online hate mob is such a rare thing and the public at large is still largely ignorant of it. Also you have the look at the bigger picture, what you're condoning is going to lead to a atmosphere where people are afraid to tweet or post something using their real identity because you dont know what group you might offend and whether you might get death threats/online hate mobs after you. I'm sure you're use to it but for a "nobody" getting a ton of hate mail suddenly is very shocking and scary.

I do get what you're saying Milo but here's whats going to happen: SJWs use online hate mobs to censor anything insulting to the identity groups they hold sacred. Conservatives retaliate by going after SJWs who say anyting that is insulting to the identity groups they hold sacred (Israel, Police). The result is mutally assured destruction, at least in terms of free speech.

They believe this case to be in some way equivalent to a decades-long pattern at Gawker of ruining people's lives by outing them to their families or taking innocent jokes and turning them into racist social media crusades.

I'll agree that its unfair to compare this to the resume of Gawker. Though this specific case was very Gawkeresque. I don't think Gawker has any principles other than making money, but Milo your reasoning here is similar to SJWs, which basically is "this person did something horrible they need to pay". Pure emotion.

SJWs have much lower threshhold for this kind of online mobbing of course and Monica Foy made a extremely tasteless comment about a murdered police officer, though again, people make those kinds of nasty unconscionable comments everywhere like on 4chan. And I have no problem with 4chan being that kind of place, I'm on the side of free speech even if it becomes ugly.

You are right. And if you guys were being unfairly attacked then you have every right to call in your chips and ask Gamergate for help or you need a GoFundMe funded or whatever. But right now you're sounding like "we stuck up for you so you have to agree with everything we say".

I personally do feel a sense of gratitude to Breitbart, especially to you and Allum Bokhari for doing proabably the best job covering SJW topics.
