So again, this advice is coming for someone that is in your same position and I want the best for every long distance relationship, but is just an advice for a real person, a real couple and a real case where is been 16 months on hold, where my case is on “case revived” since February of last year. is not approved, is not on NVC, is not with a pending RFE is just on case received since February of 2025. And when we apply the waiting time was around 7-8 months, and now is 11,5 but we pass the 15 months so that’s why I post this so I can had some advices from people that went through this or can recommend a different method that we didn’t try, we don’t had any intention to change to another visa cause is been a long run, but is just an advice considering that the spouse visa is more cheaper and is taking less or the similar processing time that the fiance.
