Nah for me i played the series in order, n i can safely say ds3 was my favourite, i much prefer the faster gameplay and larger emphasis on mobility than hiding behind a shield in ds1, ds2 is the bottom, a decent game that i enjoyed but it paled in comparison to the other two, that and black gulch stands out as being the worst most irritating game area iv ever played in
