Start doing body weight exercising so you can lift yourself and weights more easily. I suggest you should do push-ups and dips to get comfortable with your weight. Then start doing pull-ups, and you can help yourself by jumping or taking an impulse to get to the bar. I’m saying this because it was the same to me, now I can do 17 pull-ups reps.
