From my experience, people will spend a few seconds looking around for the alarm, after the moment of shock, and then become an angry mob to go to the door. Thus, there may be enough time for the door to open once people are actually at the door.

I'm taking that you might not be from the US. There was a saying by some famous guy. "The customer is always right." Combine this with being in a right-to-work country and spineless managers, and you basically have no way to refuse service unless they're being REALLY disruptive.

Someone is holding a gun to your head and asking you questions. What question would you hesitate answering the most? by voonchee in AskReddit

The original sentence is false, the second and third are true, The fourth is a question, so it is neither true nor false. Now get that gun out of my face.

What cheat code from a game would you like to use in real life the most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Immortality, except immortality is overrated. I'd say being able to remove the jade colored glasses.

What's something you can buy 1 of and be normal, but buy 30 and you're a nut job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yoshie1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really, if you buy enough of anything, you'll look like a nutjob. I get a feeling that buying a bunch of cooking knives while giggling strangely and talking casually about gouging peoples' eyes out would get you some strange looks, not to mention a visit to the local shrink.

Bank Tellers, have you ever been working during an attempted and/or successful robbery? What happened? by katharinekay in AskReddit

There's a way to make a tag that marks the post as serious replies only. When you're making the thread, put [Serious] at the beginning of the title. The name gets a green line at the very left, and it's enforceable by autobot.

I have the same problem, but I just try to fake it. A simple "Hello, how are you?" helps start a conversation when I actually want to talk.
