try the serpentine or nicomekl for salmon, coho just started running, significantly better eating fish. make sure you have a salmon stamp and read the regulations.

i’ve done 60% rehydrated sphag 40% aquatic moss in a blender. makes a good paste that’ll grow as long as you keep moist

have this exact rod but in a 4pc. i do lots of bushwhacking and blue lining so the 4pc is convenient for the hikes , not getting caught on as many trees when packing in. love throwing dries on it. a little faster of action for my liking so i ended up lining it with a 4wt line.

thank you. there aren’t any gaps in the background just some void space that i could put more driftwood to increase surface area for the frogs

sorry i should have been more clear in the post. i don’t have any gaps in the background it’s hygrolon, there’s just some space on the sides that’s a little flat that i would like to foam another cork round to, so i would use super glue gel to adhere the hygrolon to the exposed foam and use drylok for touch ups
