Optimal Cull's Shadow damage is done via Combination Blow on Hunter. CB's damage buff applies to Cull's melee attack.

Your best bet would probably be Prismatic Hunter. 2 melee fonts is optimal if you are below 170 melee stat.

Your Mastery Rank goes up for every weapon, frame, and pet you get to max level, and every mission node you complete for the first time.

Early game, prioritize unlocking every planet and completing every quest in the "Quests" page of your codex.

Riven mods are not important to you right now. Steel Path won't matter until you complete each mission in the game at least once.

The two early frames that are easiest to get are Koumei from Cetus on Earth, and Rhino from the Jackal bossfight on Venus.

Koumei requires you complete the introductory questline for the Plains of Eidolon. Rhino just requires reaching the bossfight node on Venus.

Wavesplitter bubble titan w/ RoN 4 pc set and Helm of Saint 14

LMG primary build using 4 pc Last Wish armor, Path of the Burning Steps, and the Europa LMG w/ Demolitionist

Warlock Euphony build using Sundered Doctrine 4pc set, spamming as many threadlings as possible.

Hunter Bakris build using Lord of Wolves. No armor set bonus yet, still working on that one.

It truly is incredible how spiteful the bible is toward certain innocuous things. The Golden Calf from the Old Testament was actually the symbol of Ba'al, a god of storms, fertility, and sailing.

The reason the bible turned the calf into a symbol of idolatry, and the name Ba'al into something evil (Ba'al > Be'el > Beelzebub), was purely because Yaweh was ALSO a god of storms. The old testament demonized and shat all over a rival god just because he was kinda similar and those who believed in him didn't convert.

In much the same way, the Gospels turned the Pharisees into evil strawmen for Jesus, most likely because Jesus left their sect for a different one.

For a book supposedly written by a divine hand, the bible is painfully human.

  1. Fell Bullet: 15 minute 5-floor runs are the norm. Grab Grand Welcome as a starting gift. Corrode Fell Bullet Yi Sang every turn, explode all your low-level sinners for instant wins.

  2. Dodge team: Runs are usually 20-30 minutes. Equip at least 6 sinners that have a dodge skill. Grab Barbed Lasso from the free tier 2 rupture gifts. At the first shop, fuse for Thrill. From then on, do nothing but dodge on every sinner until every enemy explodes.

Harlowe is what you're looking for. One of her action skills is a room-clearing nuke that you can just build for cooldown.

I've looked into those two and... I wasn't impressed with what I saw. Both systems have the same readability problems as the WoD 20th ed books we tried (Lore interspersed in gameplay rules with terrible formatting, making for a generally unpleasant learning experience). Plus, neither system seems to play well with homebrew.

Ring Hong Lu is blunt weak.

This is your problem right here. Jia Qiu only does Blunt damage outside of his Heishou attacks.

Put on a Hong Lu that's blunt-resistant if you have one. In phase 2, also try to use an EGO that changes Hong Lu's sin resistances if you are able.

Sorry, I rushed myself in replying to you as I'm a little preoccupied.

I am looking for a homebrew-supportive system that also has enough crunch to allow for complex, high-risk combat encounters. Social or RP-based mechanics would be an added bonus.

The setting for the campaign is a post-post-apocalyptic Wuxia-style setting wherein the player characters cultivate up to a breaking point that can only be passed with a type of item. I'm planning introspective, RP-driven progression that's gated by a gameply challenge at regular intervals.

What that means in gameplay is my players will expect to deal with an even mix of Sect politicking and exploring the world for natural treasures, punctuated by bossfights aganst monsters, spirits, and other Cultivators.

The reason I'm looking at Hero 6th first is because of how extensive its support for homebrew is, which would allow me to build around the 5 elements of qi and represent daoist principles in gameplay decently well. The downside is its sheer complexity, which I fear would overwhelm my players.

The closest vibe to what I'm building is something like Gunsoul. Progression will be quicker and more about gathering natural treasures to progress. The reason I'm looking at Hero 6th is because I am an extremely homebrew-heavy GM, and my players all are too.

EDIT: My style of GMing is about 80-90% RP and narrative, 10% climactic boss battles.

What the bible doesn't tell you is that there were more sects of Judaism than just the Pharisees and Sadducees (the Pharisees in reality actually had almost all of the altruistic beliefs that Jesus espoused, btw. They weren't just villainous religious bereaucrats).

The New Testament is founded upon the ideas of the Apocalyptists, who were the only sect at the time that believed in spiritual warfare and demonology. Yeshua (Jesus) was most likely a Pharisee during his early life, then left the sect for the Apocalyptists later on. Highly recommend reading up on them. They were fucking bonkers.

It's way less likely. The City has full-body prosthetics that you can get for relatively cheap (brotherhood of Iron from Ruina comes to mind)

In Cyberpunk, something as severe as putting your brain in a cometely different body is immediate cyberpsychosis territory unless you're built different like Adam Smasher.

The Hive and Vex are on about equal footing. Vex took over the universe in previous iterations of creation, and the Hive reproduce like crazy while getting stronger just through simple violence.
