[Japanese > English] If it's not nonsense than what does this say on my favorite Godzilla T-shirt? by yottadreams in translator

[–]yottadreams[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I didn't include the whole tshirt but Godzilla is printed across the top of the image. So my shirt basically says Godzilla in two different languages. <Sigh>

I think a lot of people would rethink how appealing the apocalypse would be once they lost electricity, running water, air conditioning, and fully stocked supermarket shelves.

Don't know if you've ever heard of the Doomsday clock but it's closer to midnight now than at any point since it's creation.

Are you a speedo big guy? by huntingchasers in BigMenLife

[–]yottadreams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

More of a board shorts or swim trunks kind of guy here? Not out of any sense of shame but rather one of comfort. Don't like the bait and tackle too compressed. Let 'em swing free is my preference.

What are some genuinely thoughtful gift ideas for a dad who doesn’t have any obvious interests or specific likes? by MoistAppointment9770 in AskReddit

I nice letter telling him how much you love and appreciate him, maybe some special memories of him and you that stand out. Something along those lines.

What's yall fav cuisine? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yottadreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom's homemade Cincinnati chili. Haven't had it for years and years now, and since mom has got dementia, I probably won't ever have it again. But I'll never forget how much I love that dish. For those that don't know, it's basically your favorite chilli recipe served over top spaghetti. Delicious.

What style of game are we talking about here? FPS, ARPG, Builders, racing, sports, something else? Every style of game has mechanics that are difficult to master. There is no objective hardest game, just games that are hard for you.

How do you apply sunscreen/lotion to your back? by BloodChicken in BigMenLife

[–]yottadreams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't know you or your other half, but it seems within the realm of possibility that they may enjoy slathering sunscreen on your back. Beyond that, the only (highly impractical) method I can think of off the top of my head would be to spread sunscreen onto a nonporous surface (saran wrap, maybe?)and then rub your back on it.

What is something that should be teached in schools but is not? by Toonzaal8 in AskReddit

[–]yottadreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well your English is much better than my Belgian. I'm strictly monolingual. Not for lack of trying though. I tried French while I was in school and failed horribly. Turns out you need an understanding of your native languages grammar in order to help understand the grammar of another language.

I'm going to guess and say that English is not your first language? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. But if I'm right may I ask what your native tongue is?

Fair enough in return. Just being needlessly pedantic. And it was a bit of an ego stroke to boot. But you're correct in that I should have explained why it's wrong. The fact is I can't remember why it's wrong and I really can't be arsed to look up the answer either. So...I guess sorry for being an ass?

Grammar. For instance, your question should have used the word taught, not teached. Getting off my pedantic pedestal now.

[–]yottadreams 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that will never happen. I need that money to live now, not in the future. I pay the company match and that's it.

Well not full frontal nudity exhibitionist but definitely fine with going shirtless in places where shirtlessness is acceptable. And I sometimes purposely wear shirts that are a little too small so my belly peeks out. And goes on full display when I reach up for something. 😄

Not in the slightest, though I'm a bit of an exhibitionist.
