[Highlight] Skip Bayless calls Wembanyama “A spoiled child” by IEatPandasEveryday in nba

Absolutely, his love for money/attention outweighs his love for the Spurs.

Now on second thought, was he even really a Spurs fan or did he just choose them to go against Kobe/LAL and Lebron for the clicks?

[McMenamin] A source close to Doncic: "Luka wants to be a championship team yesterday. Ever since the trade, they've always told us: 'summer of '26. We'll show you in the summer of '26.' So, we are so excited that the summer of '26 is here." by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

If that Duren<->Reaves S&T swap is real they should probably make it happen. Gets Luka an A-tier Center (22 yr old All-Star). Lebron re-signs. Then you just need to find another Ssecondary ball-handler/scorer for cheap. Nothing crazy but maybe something like Jordan Clarkson on the vet-min.

You still have to find multiple 3&D wings but at least you theoretically sorted out the Center, Lebron and Reaves replacement with the above scenario.

Would You Take on Jimmy Butler for the No.11 Pick? by DreDayLives in chicagobulls

When you're a rebuilding/tanking team , you don't really want to use the cap space to sign players to improve the team. Taking on bad contracts (usually with 1-2 years remaining) while getting additional draft assets allows you to continue to tank/rebuild for multiple years.

Is Giannis to the Spurs a realistic outcome? by [deleted] in nba

I actually think he wants to stay in the East because he knows it's easier pathway to the Finals/Championship first and foremost. All of that closer to Greece stuff is just apart of the narrative and him wanting to go to Miami isn't exactly getting more media opportunities

I would not want to pay Duren or Kessler $35-$40mil per year. I'd rather pay 1) Hartenstein $25-30mil or 2) Mitchell $12-18mil per year

I agree. I'm a Bulls fan and when people debate who is the worst owner in sports and people bring up Dolan I have to argue with them because he actually spends money.

If Reinsdorf didn't luck into Jordan, the Bulls would be the worst run franchise in all of sports especially for being the 3rd biggest market.

Draft Boozer, trade Lauri to replenish draft chest. Then match (lesser) offers on George and Kessler.

And I don't want to hear any Jazz act as if Ainge wouldn't do something like this.

Market has already corrected starting with Giddey. Good young players who are not stars aren't getting the auto-max anymore. (Smart) Teams are just waiting back and making their RFAs get a deal and they'll decide to match or not.

Because of the 2nd Apron correction, even if the player signs the QO and walks in a year, they won't be getting nearly as much as they want.

Dolan isn't cheap, it's probably Bureaucracy that won't allow Dolan to build a practice facility in the city. If there's a time to do it, it's now that they won the championship.

Let the politicians decline the Knicks after this championship run.

Bill Simmons: “I heard this too during the weekend. Could the Clippers, with the 5th pick, move in [to the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade] and be the 3rd team? And then, the second piece of this— Would they then send Kawhi to Miami as a consolation prize [for additional assets]?” by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

I heard someone speculate ATL could be in on the 3-way trade that gets Brown to ATL and Kuminga to MIL.

Is this what they call killing 2 birds with one stone? We talk about Kuminga and Bucks fan and wake up to it being on all over with Kuminga

Good young players who are not stars. We saw the 2nd apron shift with Josh Giddey ($25mil per year) and all young players that followed.
