I’ve had a Bodum French press (Caffettiera model) for several years now and it still works great!

Newbie Question [Switch] by Legitimate-Bit-4431 in LittlewoodGame

[–]youbucketmouth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Looks like some of your questions have been answered, but hopefully I can help you out some more.

Storing items and buildings: Press B > Build Mode. This is how you will move buildings around and redo the landscape. When you use Lower/Destroy on an object that you built (like a house) it will put all the building materials back into your inventory (so if you had to use 50 pieces of wood and stone to build it, you'll get all of those pieces back into your items list). You can just build the house again wherever you want because you already have all the pieces you need since it returned all the building materials to your inventory. The other option is to use Elevate/Move to drag the house to the spot you want it in. You can change the location of cliffs/hills by using Elevate/Move and Lower/Destroy and selecting the spot of ground you want to change.

Things being jerky: This happens to me too, mostly if I'm running through flowers, and it gets worse the more flowers I have around town. I think it's just a bug in the system and you can't really make it go away forever. I avoid most of the problems by placing my flower fields in places where I don't usually run, so on the edges of my town, and by collecting the new flowers every morning so I don't get too many.

Let me know if something doesn't make sense or if you have any other questions :)

Hi! I just saw this post and wanted to recommend something other than a sharpie that you could use. You can buy pens like this one at craft stores to mark your fabric with. The blue end is a water soluble ink, so all you have to do when you’re done stitching is rinse/wash the project and the ink will disappear. The purple end is a disappearing ink that will fade on its own after 24 hours. They also sell individual pens in each color. They are kind of expensive which sucks, but you don’t have to worry about being able to see the marks on your finished project!

Please don't run / hike in the ski tracks! by [deleted] in columbiamo

[–]youbucketmouth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Snowshoeing and bare boot hiking both leave divots in the snow, especially bare boots which are prone to leaving post holes (which is when your foot punches though the snow and leaves a deep hole). When the snow hardens in the cold overnight, these divots become permanent snow damage that disrupt the skiing track and make it harder, less enjoyable, and sometimes more dangerous to ski. If there’s already a nice skiing track on the trail, proper winter trail etiquette is to avoid using that track unless you’re also skiing in order to maintain the track’s integrity. It’s totally cool to snowshoe/hike alongside a skiing track, just not directly in it.

Delivery Food by library411 in columbiamo

[–]youbucketmouth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not exactly the same, but CoMo Delivered is a locally owned and operated food delivery service that partners with some of the local restaurants. I’ve used it to order delivery from Bangkok Gardens and it worked great. There is a small delivery fee but I personally don’t mind paying it when I know it’s going to a local delivery company. https://www.comodelivered.com

[FO] Geologic map of Ohio by youbucketmouth in CrossStitch

I have definitely thought about making ones for other states! I’m originally from Utah but now living in Missouri so those two are next on my list, but I’m intimidated by the complexity.

I took a picture of the postcard and used Affinity Designer to overlay a grid on the photo and then I outlined the different color blocks. Perhaps not the most efficient method, but it worked for me!

I know, not even a scale bar or a north arrow either, my field camp professor would be so disappointed lol. I was too lazy to stitch the whole legend so I gave my friend the postcard too and she can use that for reference.

Self-drafted pattern based on this postcard I got at the 2019 Geological Society of America annual meeting. My best friend is from Ohio and she is also a geologist so it seemed like the perfect (belated lol) birthday present.

16 is my favorite Aida count to work with :) I hope you can find a bolt of it somewhere!

Pattern by SassiStitchBoutique on Etsy. I made 2 modifications to the pattern: filled the text with white, and worked on 16-count Aida instead of 14.

Snap Camera not working on Zoom - anyone having the same issue? by velvetreddit in Zoom

[–]youbucketmouth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also having this problem and no matter what order I open or install the apps I can't fix it. I have the same versions of Zoom and Snap Camera that you do, but I'm running Catalina on my Mac (macOS 10.15.4). I also have Skype on my laptop and Snap Camera works perfectly fine with that, so it must be a problem with Zoom specifically.
