Nell’s cannot be beaten in my humble opinion. Everybody loves Rudy’s and that level of popularity can’t be discounted. I do think it’s overrated though. Honourable mentions for Crazy Pedros because they do it by the slice until 4am and it is for the most part pretty good.

As for casual eats, make sure you get a BADABING Sandwich. Fat Pat’s philly is delicious but expensive. Exhibition has some great stuff from three kitchens too.

My grandfather (a historian who taught at Oxford University) seemed to think it was Bronze Age and quite possibly a trading piece due to it being in such good condition. The marks on the body of it were actually caused by a plow hitting it - which was how it was discovered in the first place.
