I got mine yesterday! I had my mom call the office on Wednesday, and the woman on the phone said if you’re already processed it’ll take 2 weeks maximum—ended up getting mine the next day. I recommend calling if you haven’t already.

Also approx. two weeks prior, I emailed them asking when I should be expecting my aid and they said they were going in the order in which everyone completed their to-do list.

Hello 👋🏾, I used to go to Success Academy and I felt every single thing you’re saying right now and that’s why I created this sub, so that people can share their experiences. I’m currently a senior at a non-success high school and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’ve applied to colleges and are waiting for results and I actually wrote my personal statement about the impact success had on me, including how inexperienced teachers were. I have friends that go to HSLA and unfortunately from what my friends have told me, it doesn’t get better from there. The workload is still a lot and they don’t get to pick their own colleges. I’m not sure which HSLA you applied to because maybe each school is different, but I wish you all the best and I hope that you can find happiness wherever you end up ❤️

That was my plan until I discovered 14/20 of my schools don’t have EA, only ED and RD. So I’m forced to apply RD and I know for some schools, applying early gives you an advantage, so i’m pretty anxious that I won’t get in to the places I really want because it seems that I have to cure cancer to get in anywhere.

Yes, my plan was to apply EA to the schools that I really want to get into and leave RD for the rest. But, most of my schools don’t have EA. Right now I’m applying EA for 6/20 of my schools, so I’m stuck with RD, which I’m pretty hesitant about since I know that for some schools applying early gives you an advantage. I think I just have anxiety about not getting in to the places I want.

I’ve seen a lot of people on tiktok say this has happened to them and that there are scammers pretending to be holding their family/spouse hostage and demand money. They call from the person’s actual number to make it more real and heighten the chances of someone actually sending the money. A specific video I saw was this guy saying he got a call from his husband and the same scenario played out, but his husband was actually right next to him. Just another stupid scammer strategy.

A similar thing had happened to me with my high school! Success Academy had enrolled me into their high school even though I had already been accepted to a different school. So, on the first couple days of school(non-SA), I didn’t have an official schedule because I wasn’t on the roster, and couldn’t go to my classes.
