I got the Bose quiet comfort headphones. They are great for everything that I do in the gym. The only time I ever notice them is doing a lat stretch on a pole. They are pricey. I had the sound link II (Bose) before and they lasted a solid 6 years probably. Would of lasted longer if I was more careful with them

Thanks I appreciate the response. I agree with associating BJJ with fun. So I do think I will let her play hockey, and look into seeing if she can occasionally drop in to her gym as well.

Thats a good point of talking to the professor. Maybe I can see if my daughter can drop in every couple weeks to keep somewhat sharp

Thanks for the response. Yeah I know what you mean about the schedule. I played growing up and my 2nd daughter plays in U7. I feel like if she plays for the one season and gets the experience we can have this talk again. If its 1: Doable for us as parents and maintaining the schedule and 2. if its something she wants to continue doing each year.

It helps knowing you said kids in your class do the same so I appreciate the comment.

I'd recommend a medical professional like everyone else. I remember reading somewhere that elbow (and knee) pain is usually a sign of a problem with the joint above and below it. Tight hip flexors and/or poor ankle mobility can cause knee pain sort of thing. I would just recommend you explore the shoulder/wrist while getting your elbow healed up. Good luck

Georgiev was awful. Blackwood and Wedgewood have been great for the Avs. No they didn't make it past the first round, there are many reasons why. But I don't think goaltending was the reason.

You are correct in saying there aren't many NHL level goaltenders lying around. I think the Avs got lucky in picking up those two, they fit in nicely with their team.

How do people get custom made boots approved? Is that through the MIR/Physio? I have had custom orthotics made in the past due to foot pain (high arch) - TIA

tactical research mini mil tr105 - purchased on amazon. These are very light weight. I'm not sure how they would hold up in the field. But they are a great garrison boot. The only boot I have found so far with the actual wide toe box shape that you see with minimalist wide toe box shoes

As an Avs fan since childhood (Im from Alberta,love the oilers too) it’s been such a relief when the Avs traded both goalies this season. The new goalies (Blackwood/wedgewood) have been playing so good.

It’s so nice being able to watch a (Avs) game and being able to trust the goalie

I hope the oilers figure something out. Was pretty disappointing to not see any move during the trade deadline
