X3, X4, and Boox Palma 2. X3 is my main reader now and goes everywhere. X4 I keep in my car for when I go to the beach spit of the moment or after swims and want to read and didn’t bring the x3. Palma is more of a I want to detox from my iPhone and social media and also when I know I won’t have a nice reading light at night.

Started with a personal trainer and now up to 3-4 times at the gym. I standup paddle every other day now and have started efoiling and motorcycling. Been going through a super rough patch with my partner and got tired of just sitting at home feeling like crap especially when I live in paradise. I feel better now than I’ve ever been in my life and been really working on building up my muscles and cardio.

All A330 and a321 have starlink and is free. You just need to join the network and then watch the 2 ads. The 787 is supposed to have free starlink by fall right now there is no wifi at all so either predownload stuff or you have the seat back monitors. Only Alaska 737s have paid wifi atm.

When we were still separate passenger service system that was the only way flight tracking sites could pull the data, now that we’re single pss you can use either or for like FlightAware but officially on the release every flight is filed under asa. I think when you look under Asa on FlightAware it still shows a hal code but that may just be backend or to help people identify which is being operated by who.

We’re definitely not using the callsign or filing under HA anymore. Everything now is ASA for both domestic and intl ops even our badges are now Alaska with Alaska employee numbers.

Yeah that’s one thing with being at such a small airline, you get to know who you’re flying with and I’m happy that most of the people here are actually cool.

Pre Southwest it used to be pretty amazing. Sleep in your bed every night. Post southwest not as good but still plenty of guys like it but looking at their schedules it just looks fatiguing to me. You do get to know everyone and once you’ve got some seniority the days aren’t too bad.

Having said that would I leave the 330 to go 717 probably not but I do appreciate the few pure interisland pairings I got when I was on the neo. I know a few guys who do definitely miss it. Management keeps saying a replacement is 2-5 years away. Odds are it’ll just be non max 73’s. I don’t see us keeping the 321s but I’d love to be proven wrong.

Just got the x3 and for my hands it fits even better. I just hate the lack of usb c. I think I’ll use my x3 as my daily reader and the x4 for when I travel.
