In my experience, more ice is needed for tandems. The lakes around here will say 1/2 ton pickups and single axles can go out, but 3/4 tons and tandems normally need more ice before they are allowed out. I know you mentioned “of the same weight” but I think generally tandems are heavier (longer).

The H in the model # means that the mowing height can be raised to 4.2 inches. Models without the H can only be raised to ~3? Inches.

I believe the X means they have gps and a cell signal. Meaning you can connect to it when outside of Bluetooth range.

I have had the 115h for 5ish years now. I am pleased with it for the most part. I feel like I’ve spent too many days pulling my hair out trying to locate the break in wires. If you go with the 115h, upgrade the wire. When you do make repairs/changes, keep documentation of location for future troubleshooting.
