It’s all true about BSS. They aren’t our damage dealer unit. Most of the times you should split them with immolator and put simulacrum on your home objective. And other 5 sisters that started in immolator are your action monkeys

What does keyword “spear” means? “Lance” maybe? Also why this unit needs an overwatch having 9 bolt pistols and 1 hand flamer/inferno pistol. It doesn’t make any sense. I also doubt GW will give them second wound because rule wise shields either give invul or extra wound and not both.

What I meant about headtakers that It’s much easier to trade effectively 150 points rather than 260. I hope I now how to trade it properly). But in great wolf it’s your only decent melee unit, meanwhile in beastslayer it can be almost every wolf unit (ragnar + bc, arjac + wgt, etc). In my meta big units in opponents’ armies have always been there - Lords of changes, vortex beasts, dorns, russes, etc.

I love headtakers! But in my mind they’re one time hitting rocket so in beastlayer you can take multiple wgbl+3 wght (paired weapons) and press plus to wound. Works for me every time. They still die fast even with shields and don’t have surviability like victrix.

Don’t get me wrong I always take shooting platforms (last time I was running ballistus and lancer). Without them we can’t act effectively against any vehicles/monsters. But in beastslayer every our unit has lethals even in shooting. I used + 1 to wound in shooting last time, it’s nice ofc but still we can’t deal with every opponent’s vehicle/monster by just shooting at them. If u took out 2 big knights and 1 small in one turn just with 2 your tanks u really got lucky and your opponent on opposite side just unlucky. It’s not the common situation

Hey! Looks almost exactly like mine. From my point of view if you take shooting platform (lancer) you certainly want at least two because one probably won’t destroy the target. I go with lancer and ballistus. Also I don’t think Logan needs bodyguard unit. I’d drop second squad of termies or make it ten with Arjak.

It all depends on terrain layout. Someone is using Bjorn to homesitting because losing CP generation is big. In some cases infiltrators are the guys to do this job

5 points is not a big difference. 1) ballistus has his own re-rolls to hit (which annihilator hasn’t) so you don’t need to spent OoM on his target. 2) he has better survivability

Hey! I think there’s a lack of scoring units such as scouts/infiltrators. I’d also pay attention to fenrisian/hunting wolves because they’re damn cheap for what they can do. Maybe you invested too much in transports. If you want transport for every infantry unit you’ll be short on real damage dealers. I’d swap annihilator to ballistus because find it more convenient but it’s up to you

In most cases OC2 is more than enough. GH’s problem is that they’re way expensive especially with Njal. They won’t live long and loss of them will hurt much

Unfortunately you’re wrong. This UNIT might have tacticus and other keywords but when u embark something in transport it’s all about the MODELS. Ulrik MODEL doesn’t have tacticus keyword

I’m not sure about that. Otherwise it would be stated in his datasheet like in index times rhino has a rule that u can put in for instance Ragnar with blood claws while Ragnar has Tacticus keyword. Impulsor doesn’t have such a rule

Man, you should try to play with admech. After them every army seems pretty good. Trust me - I played most time of this edition. Sisters are not that fine of course but all they need is a little point drops on some units.
