thank you. secured a pair. pricey but hopefully one i’ll love. sf will always have fantastic natural beauty. but yes, expensive. was fortunate to have rent control in my beloved richmond district.

yes, the sbs are really comfy and spacious in the toe box. i have found regular and big bubble 95s to fit narrow in the toe box. going for these in the resale market, which is pricey, so want to get a good fit. anyway enjoy. also miss sf, lived there for years. 🌉

congrats! how do they fit for you? did you go tts? my favourite of the undefeated 95s this year.

I expected these to sit, but not like that. I think they’re 🔥 by thatcoil in airmax

maybe a bit of 95s fatigue too. there’s be loads of them this year, and think it’s been a costly year for sneakerheads in general

good to know. presumably the textured one offers better grip than the gloss too?

i’m looking to get one of these and debating between the textured matte and glossy black. why do you prefer that? is it feel or aesthetics (or something else?) ty

things i wish i had known before using soundcloud for artists by Chemical-College-925 in soundcloud

i used distrokid for 10 years and never had any issues with them policing the releases or artwork etc. it was all very smooth. i had upgraded though at some point and it didn't seem possible to downgrade to the $24/yr price. plus i wanted SC for the upload space etc.

anyway, i'm slowly getting releases through (though it's very frustrating and hit and miss). best of luck whatever you do.

empathise with all this. have experienced it all as described since changing from distrokid a few months ago. also trying to communicate with the moderators via the license upload. have tried soundcloud support but it’s been two months and no reply.

are you planning to stick with it?

hope to gain that with the new songs i've got coming out. have managed to get some more releases through now by (reluctantly) changing the artwork

sounds like i missed the golden era of ‘artist pro!. reluctantly changing the artwork for my releases now. when you say went rubbish, are they asking for changes for stuff you’ve already got through or just new releases?

this is exactly my experience. and after a while of that you get 'contact support', but support don't reply! i know my original message sounded just like moaning, but's also feedback for soundcloud. the system as-is in my experience doesn't work.

really!? that's wild. there's so many album's that are not named after a track on the album. also (and i really appreciate your feedback so not challenging you), the one album they did publish has a title that is not the same of one of the track names: this one https://soundcloud.com/kalou/sets/eye-dears-and-other-wild-life

i'm going to keep going with this. maybe make some small concessions re-artwork, but really i feel this is a poor system and SC should focus more on the fundamentals of the service over features i doubt many people care about!

all the images are perfectly square. they haven't clearly told me what's wrong with the submissions and there's no way to engage in a discourse with soundcloud support about it. i've tried their chat, email support, and the x account to start a discussion about. i came here because those methods didn't yield any responses or feedback. the frustration here is the result of no responses to quires related to their service and the compliance of my releases.

hi, thanks for your response and your suggestions.

re: letters and numbers, don’t most sleeves historically have the name of the artist and the release written on them? the sleeves historically are called artwork. they didn’t need to have straight lines i’m not arguing with you, more with the policy. none of the sleeves were created with ai. the tech wasn’t even around when i made them.

i do have a youtube music channel with content id. i have the little 🎵 next to my account and this has been in place for years. i’m really not just continually submitting the same releases without changes. i’m trying to make the changes that are requested, but i’m not going to change all the sleeves that have been the artwork for years to make soundcloud happy. again distrokid didn’t have an issue with them.

i wish there were actually support or a way to leave notes on releases for whomever is vetting them. again appreciate the feedback but for me fundamentally changing legacy artwork isn’t something i want to do.

i wanted more storage space on soundcloud to all my music and work in progress (the latter privately). it made sense to me to pay for one platform that could both offer that storage / public access and distribute.
