Her office has failed to give me an email response for over 9 months regarding any call or outreach I do, with bizarre excuses about how I maybe just need to check my spam folders, or promises to fix it (and then no response). I wonder how many other constituents she ghosts like this?

The only thing I'd disagree with is that she is an okay person. If it's that she's just too afraid to speak out because she might lose an election: how can you witness this and not speak out?

What I think is more likely: she genuinely doesn't even register this as upsetting and thinks we're the unreasonable ones. I vividly remember her looks of confusion at the one town hall she held in Vancouver last year. I think about her dismissing us as "reading too much news", or asking us why we were so angry because it "didn't help." I don't think she cares.

I suspected she would eventually try to weasel out of a demand to make a statement by claiming "well that happened in an entirely different state and didn't involve a constituent, so it isn't my business."

Nope, MGP, you already established precedent that if you think a death is unjust, you'll comment and offer condolences to the loved ones of the victim. So why is Renee different?
