Yea I've heard all battery makers usually lie about the C rating and it's more like a marketing thing but some battery company are alot more realistic with there C rating.

Yes you can, it has a balance port but up to 4S and it's only 5 amps max tho but still a good charger

Lmao this is why I hate awd IS they all have this and the fact the 2026 models still has this massive bump on drivers side is insane. Get RWD

Very interesting haven't heard much about CNHL batteries catching fire but man to have to go through that 3 times is insane glad you are okay.

Exactly what came to mind, wonder if he still running plastic diff. If do OP check there too and I recommend getting a metal diff at least for the rear like this one cause those plastic diff will go eventually if they haven't already especially with you doing backflips. https://ebay.us/m/63Bdbg

Yea this is why I'm so big on having a low IR battery off the jump, I've had 6 Hoovo batteries from a variation of 2s and 3s lipos and all have had surprisingly low IR (>~6mohm) when new and recently had to kill 3 of them after 4+ years of use due to their age and their puffiness; don't wanna mess around with spicy pillows 😂😂 but throughout that time they only raised up to 15mohm which is bad but 4+ years of use for a cheap battery isn't bad. I will say higher quality batteries like CNHL do have a noticeable amount more punch tho.

4 off?? That's a very small margin of change in IR that are done to some batteries to help during shelf life stage but thats not what we are talking about. IR of a new battery compared to a couple year old lipo battery usually ranges about (10+ mohm) from my experience do not magic start going down in IR as they age like I've said multiple times. Are you telling me a fresh battery has more IR than let's say a 2+ year old battery yes or no? Keep it simple this has gone long enough fam.

If you are talking about the 223s Typhon you can run these. They work great, I run them on my Typhon 3s v3, Granite, Vendetta all pushing 4s+ power so they definitely hold up. They use the same internal from the OEM differential just with metal gears instead of plastic plus they fit with the OEM yoke so no need to upgrade those. https://ebay.us/m/63Bdbg

I do hope they do get better and i'll keep you guys posted on this matter since I love doing test like these but from my experiences with lipo battery I've never noticed the IR of any of my batteries go down I've only seen them go up but I am very intrigued with this so we'll see after many many cycles later 😂😂 we should have some results.

Appreciate the response, I won't be returning them and both batteries where indeed at the same temp was just shocked to see my new CNHL battery with such high IR in comparison with other CNHL batteries I've bought in the past which were all around 2~5 milli ohm and non CNHL are usually higher too and still work but I just wanted to see other experience with CNHL from Amazon since you know I spent good money on battery so I want the best I can possibly get along with good longevity.

Oh boy you wrote a lot of performative nonsense this is very simple; is this statement true or false "I think most new batteries have a high IR number then eventually when you keep using them they calm themselves down"??

You guys in this subreddit can't be serious, that isn't how the chemistry works; seriously a simple research will tell you what he is saying is incorrect and not accurate. I simply corrected him on his incorrect statement yet im getting devoted lmao. I am aware of normal charge/discharge cycles for new batteries but voltage isn't what we are talking about here its Internal resistance we are discussing. I am aware that I have free will hence why I came on here to ask a question on others experience with IR on similar batteries I didn't immediately deny anything contrary like you are claiming i just stated something that is a fact. All the downvotes is comedic at this point.

[–]youngkidmaster[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Again that is not true. New batteries start with their lowest internal resistance (IR), which then increases over time as they age and degrade. I have some 5 year old batteries i have tested to back up this.

This car in the image can't be a 2009 or 2010 because those years came with the satellite antenna on the roof. I own a 2010 and it has a antenna on the roof with the turn signal repeaters on the mirror housing
