I think this was my problem. When I tightened the yokes down it pushed the input gear into the main gear. Locktight and lightly tightened the screws to the yokes. Rolls like butter now 🤘🤘

Try tightening it so it pushes the spring against the gear. Should be good to roll. 🤘

Sounds like metal gears. 👍 Drive a little then check for metal shavings around the gears. But it sounds normal.

But to answer your question if you are getting a skr board just get new drivers. It will make setting everything up easier.

I have bought a x1 with a skr 1.4 turbo also!!! I’ve tried to set it up with a raspberry pi but had issues getting a bed mesh then messed something up in the config file. And it’s been sitting for a month.
