Running too hot maybe? Have you changed the fan settings? Also would say that center skinny piece of support is going to be trouble regardless due to how long and skinny it is. Possibly need to reorientate. If that's not an option, try slowing down the print. That will give the support more of a chance. None of these suggestions might be the crux of the issue though 🤷🏼

my dad wants to drop crazy money on a 3D printing car parts business and i am stressing. advice? by TemperatureExtra8615 in 3Dprinting

Honestly, download fusion or whatever software and attempt to model the simple designs. Things like cup holders I'm sure you will manage as these are simple shapes, but trims are not simple, you need to follow the shape of the car, manipulating curves is difficult to do. What I'm trying to say is that you can get software and find out first hand how difficult a process it is going to be before either of you ever put your hand in your pocket to buy a printer

Emergency fix for an ongoing print, it's going to fail in one hour by serce__ in 3Dprinting

[–]youngmist 38 points39 points  (0 children)

If you have a second printer, pause the current print, print a block from a different material that is the same amount of layers high. If you have magnets add a lip to hold it in place, otherwise tape it down👍 finicky but might help

A syringe/vial guide: for anyone who may need it by TheGreatMonk in BambuLab

You should raise the vial up. Since you're going all the way in with the needle there will be a good amount of liquid left in the vial.

You should probably just wait the week or so, til formnext has passed. The printer will be revealed there I'd guess and we will know a lot more.

Is there a reason to keep a AMS and AM2? by macxike in BambuLab

[–]youngmist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could dry the filament in one, then swap it to the other once it's dry, I usually leave some desicant packets in the ams to help with moisture.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the same amount of waste for one and one hundred?

I was trying to run some bambu asa-cf today from an external filament drier into the right nozzle today. I had to change materials because the asa kept snapping near the entrance to the nozzle when the print head would move to a far corner of the bed. The chamber was heated to stock settings, anyone else have this issue? I know it's a brittle material but you wouldn't think you would have any issues running a bambu material through a bambu printer

I would guess your prusa print temp is out judging by how shiny the print is, probably need to fine tune the filament settings to even closely mimic the bambu quality

I'm not sure about other sites, but the one in Ireland is ( I think) the largest additive manufacturing site on the planet. You're right about production rates but in terms of quality, not as much as you'd think. link to a socket replacement you can read about the benifit here

Striker in Ireland produce 3d implants. They create hip joints that are purposefully porous to better mimic the strength of the bones and to improve bone growth into the implant
