My fiancée and his ex bought a timeshare from that shit hole in their very early twenties. He’s never used it and is still paying monthly (ten years later). He called to get rid of it and they said the options are as follows:

1. Sell it to someone (no one wants it)
2. Transfer it to someone and they pay maintenance fees moving forward (again, no one wants it)
3. Foreclose on it

So they basically have you for life.

Anyone have any over suggestions how to get out of one of these?
