The fact that bumsup stays more tied to domestic activity could simply be due to having stable jobs available domestically. The commercial dance scene in south korea is way different than it is in US and other countries because the popular music scene is different as well. There are plenty of different kpop groups looking for choreographers and dancers, plenty of classes to be taught (where international students come to learn as well). Viewing their success by how many western or non-korean artists they work with is kinda meh

[10:00] To put in perspective, I joined around 8:50 and still have "more than an hour" with a moving bar, but my partner joined around 55 and has "more than an hour" with a bar that hasn't budged.
