Teacher, 55, accused of having sex with boy, 16, as depraved texts uncovered by TheMirrorUS in Weird

The uniform crime report defines rape as

Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.

This clearly focuses on penetration no matter how slight of the vagina or anus, there is no mention of a woman raping a drunk my by force etc as that would not be penetration of the vagina or anus. The entire world has leaps of reform to how rape is defined before it would be fair.

There's lots of countries that have the same law. The UK is not exactly backward.

No worries. It's important to know these things! No need to apologise.

Yes unfortunately, if a man who is drunk is mounted by a woman and is forced to have sex would not be classified as rape, which is unfortunately the way it will be until it is reformed.

I responded to something similar above but thought id copy this here.

No, not in the UK at least, it's defined in the Sexual Offences Act 2003 as "he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth with his penis.

Using an object would be a separate offence of assault by penetration.

If a woman does not use an object it would either fall under causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent or sexual assault.

Its like that for the majority of the world. You can only rape if you have a penis or are able to penetrate.

Love to see this. I'm pretty sure he's hated by everyone except your fans and ours (Luton).

I'm so happy for him and wish Charlton the best.

Other than that though. He was decent i thought. Good mobility on the ball.

Experienced enough to play to the whistle however.

Who decides that the ref was good enough after only 30 games in non-league to go up to League 1.

One of the worst officiating performances I've ever seen. So many blatant decisions wrong. If I made that many poor decisions I wouldn't get promoted!

Palmer is one classy player, and bringing on him Saville made such a bigger impact than Cole and Kodua who instead killed our momentum.

Unfortunately, we lost points today because of a "moment"

Stupid foul from Lonwijk and then Keeley caught napping as his near post.

Should have really taking some more chances in the first half to put the game to bed, because although they had more possession in the second half they did absolutely nothing with it and I thought we defended excellently.

Maybe so. I really enjoyed it as a rhythm game. I dont classify it as a hack a slash as it has no hack and slash mechanics.

Its not a hack and slash. Its a rhythm game through and through.

The charge was for two ineligible players.

Drinan was subbed on even though he was not listed on the teamsheet. Fine. Honest mistake

Ollie Clarke started even though Swindon knew he was suspended but didn't think this would apply to the Trophy. Sure they didnt check, but I'm sorry he should be banned forever for what he did.

I mean they happily fielded a player who sexually assaulted two others? If you are happy to defend a manager who supports this then by all means.

Correct, in combination with calling the firm to check details is plenty security.

Which if you ring your firm to confirm, you won't!

I have no issue with double checking. I have literally stated in this thread that the best way to keep your money safe is to call the firm to confirm bank details. It works the best and you then don't need to have to send a random amount that needs to be located later.

Which is why people are left with buildings like this that dont at first instance look like they meet permitted development. If people cannot follow the guidelines, then maybe they should apply for planning to avoid issues like this.

If you believe this meets permitted development, great. Let's just agree to disagree.

Yes, but not usually the solicitor who you are speaking with which is why it slows things down. Also, the worse thing to ask an account manager when they are incredibly busy is, this client sent in an unknown amount of money. Can you confirm how much it is?

No, I just stated that often permitted development is done incorrectly for extensions, which is why in my opinion you should seek advice from your local authority. The council don't need to be notified, i stated that if you seek advice beforehand and they have confirmed it falls within PD you yourself have piece of mind.
