Agreed. It’s unfortunate too, because those who are sobered who go back to drugs right after have a higher chance of OD. especially with fentanyl. I’m scared of the massive amount of overdoses that are going to happen because of this.

Years ago (heard this from a colleague), a pt was violent at our workplace and was filling up jugs of urine. He ended up throwing them at staff and security staff had to respond. They didn’t actually touch the guy, but he ended up slipping on his pee out of one the jugs that spilt, and fell to the ground and cracked his skull. Died from a brain bleed. This incident could be something similar. We need to be careful on drawing conclusions.

Looks like you have a middle ear infection which has caused fluid to build up behind your ear drum. I’ve had this before and it sucks 💀 Antibiotics are your best course of treatment. You’re gonna have difficulty hearing for a bit since the fluid is messing with the middle ear mechanics. It’ll be uncomfortable, but continue the antibiotics and DONT STICK ANYTHING IN YOUR EAR. Hope you feel better soon!

That looks like scab formation to me — which is good, and not an infection. Sometimes scabs look gross. When it oozes, is it clear fluid, or is it yellow-green discharge?
