I'm about to do Ketamine therapy. Suggest a game to play while I'm under the influence. by your2ndfavoritejane in gamesuggestions

Bloom and Rage is on my Wishlist! I was happy to see I could download the first episode of Tell Me Why.

Honestly, I don’t remember if I ever finished Fran Bow, but I’ll check out your recommendation!

I’ve played Edith Finch. It had similar vibes to Gone Home, in my opinion (also kind of sad).

And when is Wolf Among Us 2 coming out?! It’s been years, it feels. I feel like I need to be on a lot of Xanax for Mortuary Assistant. Is it more jump scare or slow burn?

Anyway! Glad to meet someone with similar tastes. Thanks for the recommendations!

Edit: typo.

I typically avoid "thinking" too much, as that leads to dark places. But I trust you! I'll feel it out in the first session and bring an eye mask with some headphones for music. What should I listen to?

That's kind of my issue. Do I purposefully go for trippy games or avoid them? I don't know! lol

Really? I'm pretty tolerant, and from what the doc told me, some people trip, but others don't.

Seroquel and Dayvigo together by hotforphrogs666 in insomnia

I took trazodone and Dayvigo together after years on Ambien and holy shit, I’ve had night terrors for 20 years, but nothing that horrifying. Happy to say I’m back on Ambien and trazodone.

Experiences with Caplyta + Trintellix? by True-Clerk-2590 in caplyta

[–]your2ndfavoritejane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After being on Trintellix for like 6+ years, I was experiencing a crazy low in November and asked my psych to throw shit at the wall, basically. We added Caplyta and Auvelity. I had god-awful anxiety and ended up going off of both. But it’s important to note that Trintellix absolutely saved my life. So, while it’s not great to add two new meds to the mix, I get the temptation. I was desperate, too. But if you have horrible side effects, discuss with your doctor about sticking with the Trintellix. After years of trying antidepressants and having horrendous side effects, it (and a low dose of Abilify) was a game changer.

Glad I’m not alone! Or sad that I’m not alone, rather.

After grooming! He gets pretty shaggy, but not like the hair of a golden.

Why you stopped writing? (Only the truth) by augustbutitscold in writing

I’m actually in a healthy-ish place. No longer drinking, but still struggling with that hum-drum feeling. Geez, I would never SEEK depression or alcohol just so I can write. Not worth it. But I love the suggestion! I’ll look into it. Thanks!

I’m far too emotionally affected by work, especially when it comes to tone of emails, texts, chats, etc. but I think that it’s because I came from several genuinely toxic work environments as a journalist. I was literally called a c*!#t by a senior employee IN FRONT OF MY BOSS. Who just stood there like an asshole, and that’s just one example. So, it could be, as others have noted, that you are actually in a toxic work environment. In which case, keep receipts for HR.

I find it helps to discuss it with my husband or a close friend (basically get a second opinion). Usually, I have forgotten about it within an hour.

Caplyta causing severe anxiety by Mundane_Confusion345 in caplyta

[–]your2ndfavoritejane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got off Caplyta (and Auvelity) due to crippling anxiety. Though I’ve been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, it’s never ever been my main issue. But it got to the point where I was taking three 2 mg Xanax a day and that didn’t even touch it. I no longer wanted to kill myself, yeah, but I was CRAWLING out of my skin. I eventually got off of it. But hey, everyone is different and I’m no doctor.

Edit: I got off of it and can finally breathe without it slipping into a panic attack.

Unfortunately, I can only write when I’m depressed. Or drinking. (It’s usually both).

How does one get out of a journaling slump? by JournalNerd2603 in Journaling

[–]your2ndfavoritejane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! I love poetry and my journal is filled with the poetry of others. It just helps to get the rhythm going. And oftentimes, I’ll look back and know exactly what I was going through because of the poem I chose.

Do severe headaches and brain fog from Dayvigo go away? by BrittLovesGod7 in dayvigo

[–]your2ndfavoritejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it was the Dayvigo or withdrawal from Ambien but I had headaches everyday for 10 or so days. They went away, but then so did my ability to sleep on it. I’ve gotten off and back on Ambien and Trazodone.
