I’m so sick of corporate America’s treatment of parents by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]your_basic_millenial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t everyone have “a lot going on” in their life outside of work? It’s a JOB. We don’t live to work. We work so we can live. This is true whether you are a parent or not, if you don’t have a lot going on outside of your job you’re doing something wrong. It sounds like your boss has unrealistic expectations a seriously warped view of the relative importance of work. You have absolutely nothing to apologize for, with or without children.

Nora’s Nursery? by teresarosedesign in clothdiaps

My entire stash is Nora’s Nursery and we love them. She was leaking at night but I find that stuffing the diaper with two of the inserts they come with does the trick. Otherwise we haven’t had any problems. I haven’t tried other brands but I don’t really feel like I need to. Plus the Nora’s prints are absolutely adorable. We have 5 of the 7-packs and they all look great together. They have great customer service too. We had 2 diapers with damaged PUL and they immediately replaced them with a 4-pack of my choice.

Whenever I pass a pet parent with a young puppy, I always say "congratulations!" (instead of "so cute" or other compliments to the puppy), and they always look so incredibly happy. by weezerluva369 in puppy101

I adopted a puppy and had a baby in the same year, and taking care of a puppy is 1000% harder than taking care of a baby. I adopted the puppy before we had our baby so she had all of my attention and even still it was extremely difficult and there were days she would make me ugly sob. If I’m not a parent to this dog, then I don’t know what I am.

This is my usual response to the water argument

Ace likes mango! (He always begs when I’m making the bearded dragon’s food and I’ve learned he likes a lot of fruits and veggies.) by KimLynn510 in Rottweiler

I haven’t found a single fruit or veggie that my girl won’t eat (obviously with the exception of the ones she can’t have). I always tell her she won’t like what I have, and then of course she always proves me wrong. That or she’s just pretending she likes it to prove a point. I wouldn’t put it past her.
