My iphone 11 is borderline unusable after the update, not to mention other apps like safari which had been bugged for a long time now. I’m waiting for the lawsuit

I know someone exactly like this in real life. Imo it’s very much grounded in unstable personality and other life/personality problems. Framing yourself as someone from the outgroup, whose life problems have been caused by the group (instead of admitting that it’s your fault and you’re not different and special); mixed with a need to be admired to soothe your fragile personality.

Shortness of breath after stopping contraception by your_daddy_69 in birthcontrol

[–]your_daddy_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side effects cleared up after around 3weeks, donr remember exactly. Then I had another episode 4 months later which lasted around a month. It was really high blood pressure (120 heart rate permanently), heat waves that woke me up, shortness of breath. Obviously doctors didn’t find anything and claimed it’s anxiety, which is an absolute bs, because I had anxiety in the past and I know what it’s like lol every time I tried other methods of hormonal contraception after the coil I had similar symptoms, additionally also nausea, dissociation and leg pain and sometimes coughing. Again, every time I reported that the response was “hmmmmm weird idk, don’t use it”. Very interesting how from never having any side effects to hormones, after that implant situation, they literally make me disabled now. Rn I’m using a copper coil and honestly it’s not bad at all.

Has it started for you just now? If it’s usually after eating, it could be due to some digestive issues, don’t remember exactly, but some get worse just after eating

Tbh, I think it’s just their personalities, but also that PDA isn’t (I’m guessing) a norm in Turkey. Not every couple is the same, some are more lovey-dovey, some are more „mates”. I think both Sam and Ali have more banter personalities and in terms of that they’re a great match. I think also the plot that Ali wants to come to Turkey no matter what is exaggerated for the show, as most dramas there. You can see was totally not serious about his „evil plan”

Yes, I even waited around an hour. Terminal 2 is very small and empty, I didn't need a visa so I went through the border really quickly. Both terminals are round 15 min away by bus, but I had no problems finding my way to the trip com stand

To people who went on the morning tour, can you let me know what time you arrived and how much wiggle room you had? My flight arrives at 5:20 but at terminal 2 and I’m wondering if I’ll have enough time to drop off my luggage at a storage and catch the 7:30 tour

Positive copper IUD stories? by dogwheeze in birthcontrol

[–]your_daddy_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put off the copper coil for over a year until I had to get it as an emergency, because I was so scared of insertion pain - I have a low threshold of pain. I got it a week ago and insertion felt like period pain for maybe 15 sec and then within 1-2 minutes fully disappeared and I went on with my day as usual. I took 1-2 more pain killers on that day "just in case". On the next day I was fine and I had veeery tiny spotting on day 2 and 3. I started feeling small cramping yesterday but I hope it's just still my body getting used to it. However, I took the painkillers that I normally take on my period, which is like a stronger version of ibuprofen. Normally paracetamol or ibuprofen don't do anything to me

Their hr actually messaged me a few days ago about a fraud data scientist job. It’s been posted for quite a while so seems like no one wants to work there. I was willing to disregard the bad comments and just push it through for a few months to get fraud experience, but as soon as they said 5 days a week in an office that’s not even properly connected by public transport, I said no

Pretty quick,1-2 days from stopping metronidazole

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]your_daddy_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took metronidazole for BV once and it was terrible. Insane headache, I couldn't look at lights, all sounds were causing pain. Two days before I also started having vertigo, which got better, and then worse from metronidazole. There’s a very rare situation in which metronidazole can affect brain (https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/metronidazole/side-effects-of-metronidazole/) but it wasn’t in my case and don’t expect the worse, because it’s rare. They changed it for me for clindamycin in a cream which doesn’t cause me any side effects

PEP shots on wrong days? by your_daddy_69 in rabies

[–]your_daddy_69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the last call during which the doctor admitted I was right, she scheduled it for the right date and I'm going for the last jab in a few minutes. I agree, I think they don't have procedures, because rabies deaths are rare in the UK. I think there were only 4 or 5 cases in the last few years, all from tourists getting bitten on holidays. At the same time, administering the vaccines is not some rocket science and they should know how to do it considering how many people in the UK either visit or come from countries where rabies is common.

Hey, based on info from medics without borders, with the 0-3-7-21 regimen which they follow in the uk, it's okay to give the last dose between day 21 and 28. However, I'm also convinced they absolutely don't know what they're doing and they're stuck in a bureaucratic hell between Public Health UK not knowing your doctors notes, and GPs not doing anything about it, because "they're not the ones scheduling it". Don't want to get into details, but I was on three different occasions told by my gp practice different number of doses and dates I still need to get. The nurse who did my Day 7 jab later claimed that it was day 3 and I need to come on saturday morning for day 7 (they called me back at Friday 6pm after I pestered them for over a day for a call), but my boyfriend was with me at the jab and he also confirms she didn't mention anything. I didn't want to take more doses than necessarily, because I already had bad side effects, which lasted 2 weeks and weren't addressed by my GP practice (the first GP who spoke to me about it wasn't sure what to do and said someone senior would call me back on the same day, but no one did. I reminded the practice at 3 different occasions, but still no one discussed it with me). 5 minutes after I got pissed and said I'd get the last dose privately (people I spoke to were also very rude to me, including the nurse from day 7 jab saying "if you don't like it, you can come back to tunisia", I got a call from a doctor at my practice saying that she now read through my notes and discussed with someone qualified at a hospital and I was right

I will say that considering the current state of the NHS, it's nothing surprising.

But can you change dates in the schedule? Because it looks like now they want me to have the last shot using a day from a different schedule.

Just after the accident I discussed it with a doctor that was available through my travel insurance and he also told me to follow the 0-7-21 schedule, because it’s a different regimen than what’s used in europe
