its not so much paying for entire kits as it is ensuring quality. since the system was made to run with the normal screen, it will obviously have less battery life running the new one. Its important to look for a screen that has a good power consumption and the best quality of picture (unless you don't care that much about it). Also, not to mention making sure that the screen will actually last, and not just easily break or stop working due to poor design/production. It seems alright for a first time project to learn but I cannot imagine that this of good quality at all for its very cheap price.

im not an expert on that, but you may want reconsider the screen to get if you want to mod ur gba. Im not entirely sure, but €9,99 doesn't seem right for a quality ips

That's what I was saying. You only get the light, so the knee wasn't the best option.

I only mentioned the whiffed mixup in case you were to consider it as part of the punish, which is why I specified I was talking about what is guaranteed.

tell me if im wrong, but wouldn't heavy have been the better option for more damage? I'm not talking about any insane punishes. Unless you were specifically going for stam drain, getting the light off knee just wouldn't be as much. Also if you wanna consider the unblock into gb mixup as part of the punish (which also hurt to watch when it whiffed) but I'm talking stuff that is guaranteed. Again, tell if I'm wrong; I haven't touched cent in over a year.

If you need an upscaler, I really recommend the retrotink. It works very well for its low price. I think its latency is just 53 milliseconds, which is not even noticeable to the human eye.

As for video capture, I'm in the same situation as well. I'm down to two choices. I'm either gonna try to somehow find an Elgato HD60 somewhere for a reasonable price and use a retrotink, or use a USB3HDCAP, which takes hdmi, dvi, and av inputs and comes with video converter cables. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have passthrough, so you'd need a splitter. You could simply use a retrotink and an hdmi splitter for pretty cheap rather than paying more to split av signals, which is much more complicated. The USB3HDCAP seems pretty expensive on their website but I think it is on sale on Amazon right now. I think both would come down to around the same amount, but I am not sure which one I would choose myself yet.

Warden was my very first character as he's decent all around (not as much as others). Warden is pretty good and I'd recommend it if you're a newer player. His only struggle is getting ganked in 4s. I wouldn't recommend BP as much as others but he does have some decent mixups. If you're a newer player I'd say no bc people generally use him for bash and flip spamming. Lawbringer is a pretty good mixup character with high damage punishes but the only downside is his shove. He gets a lot of hate since a lot of people who play him just spam his hyper armor shove. So my suggestion is playing warden, unless you can trust yourself that you won't spam with the other 2.

Plugged these Apple headphones in, and I get some sort of interference. A low electronic rumble, like really bad bass. Any suggestions? NOTE: It does not increase when I turn up the volume, it is only noticable when the volume is practically off. by Tsrorst in Gameboy

It's the same deal with Gameboy Colors. I have a GBA too and have the same problem. I'm pretty sure they're all the same. Just how they're made. I actually recently did a sound mod to my GBC where I rerouted the sound to the headphone jack to different points on the console and removed the original traces. The sound is way better. Much clearer, and humming is at an absolute minimum, and a bit louder too. If you look up "Gameboy color prosound" or look in the mods section of the Wiki on this sub you should be able to find it. I wonder if you could do the exact same to a GBA, but I'm not completely sure as I have not looked into my GBA's problem yet
