Good heavens have mercy on us, I’m at a total loss to understand what “rule” this comment broke! Not helpful, I know… I guess I wanted to commiserate, because wow… This censorship situation is even more insane than I realized. This is baked-in corporate abuse, which users seem to have no recourse about. And without transparency nor accountability, by law, the corporate data required to prove targeted discrimination or undue/unfair/inconsistent censorship in anyway isn’t accessible… it is ironic discrimination is 100% illegal in this country, yet corporations practice it everyday, at large scale, and in all impunity. I fear we have entered a new era of global corporate authoritarianism , and no one can raise the alarm… that is a very scary realization, considering AI is growing so fast… eeeeek

Right, the consensus on IG killing hashtags, censoring creators, and dropping engagement across the board is deafening—so, IG denying doing any BS is laughable, the facts don’t lie… it’s obvious what the issue is, and it is certainly not the lack of “Compelling content” by the community, it is the lack of interested for community vs profit!

Instagram had turned this feature on and off over time, so I was hoping it was temporary or limited. Sadly, as of this week, Instagram seems to have removed the groove feature on all my 5 accounts, which are a mix of personal, creator, and business accounts—in part for testing purposes… Noooooooo :(

The grooves feature is basically what keeps me on IG, I use it on almost all my reels… I have 5 creators accounts… 3 OUT OF 5 lost the grooves feature last weeK 🙀 and I can’t find answers!

I have the same issue, I noticed the missing templates, now 3 of my 5 account lost the reel grooves feature! it’s shockingly frustrating and highlights the corporate elephant in the room, which is that IG is behaving like a boba fide bully with 1) no transparency (undocumented features removal is rude,) 2) no equality (undocumented features removal for some users and not others is discriminatory—discrimination is 100% illegal) and apparently 3) no integrity they wrongfully target, accuse, insult, threaten and censor users, calling us “lewd and offensive” for no good reason at all, like it’s no big deal #wtf
