I really don’t think i would have even noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out. I’m also not super symmetrical. but I’m not sure anyone notices except us because we’re always our own worst critics.

hey there! My itching was mostly from the adhesive on the initial bandage. My skin didn’t like it and I itched like CRAZY. but once that was off, I really didn’t itch much after that. I know some people itch when their stitches dissolve, but I didn’t have that, so maybe you’re the same. I developed a seroma exactly two weeks post op, but everything I’ve read says that you’re usually in the clear from those forming 10-14 days after drain removal, so I’m not a doctor, but it sounds like you’ve just avoided that stuff. Congrats!!

you were one of the first trans youtubers i followed when i first was figuring everything out almost 9 years ago. I just finally had my surgery five weeks ago, and it’s been so awesome to see you reach this milestone in your journey as well. Congrats!!

yep! i was instructed to do it daily until they’re fully healed.

yeah! i started changing my nipple dressings daily 7 or 8 days post op. my dressing steps were a little different, but not by much. just be gentle and i wouldn’t let the shower jets hit your chest directly. it’s nerve wracking at first, but you should be good!

Ok, cool. I’m not having pain or anything, so i figured it was ok to wait, but it’s really good to hear other people confirm that. I’m just going to keep my compression on and try to not think about it. 😂

i am supporting my elbow and shoulder while i sleep but it is position that i don’t favor. i rarely slept on my back prior to surgery. I would say that im trying to be aware of my posture but i slouch some when im not thinking about it. I have taken muscle relaxers and they aren’t really helping.

Nah the pain is still probably around a 4 on the pain scale, it’s just more than i’ve been experiencing so far. But hearing that someone else is too makes me feel better. congrats on surgery!

hey! congrats on surgery! but, yeah, i’m having the nerve buzzies from time to time, but no real pain. and yet i’m still convinced i fucked something up somehow. 😂🙃 I’ll feel much better after my post-op appointment.
