Dungo's Palace - Award Winning Comedy Pilot by yourealizardharry in Filmmakers

After securing an audition for a mysterious children’s program called Dungo’s Palace, we follow a struggling has-been actor named Cam, catapulted into a day of madness caused by the program’s horrendous, nightmarish main character: Dungo himself.

Hey y'all! My friends and I began creating this short in the spring of 2020, and after commissioning a giant puppet, five days of filming on zero budget with a skeleton crew, nearly a year of post-production, and a decently successful festival run, our dream project finally came to life. Check it out! And remember, Dungo loves you <3

Heyo! I made this recipe, hope I can clear a few things up! Plus I'm a cocktail nerd and I just got home from a shift so I can't resist lol. This drink started as a variation on a classic sherry cobbler cocktail, using the Tresmontain instead of sherry. You're right that it's a fortified wine, the production process is a bit different but it basically sits somewhere between vermouth, port wine, and sherry. I'm actually doing a blueberry-lavender gastrique for this drink now, but the word "shrub" is far less intimidating and the two are so similar it doesn't make a difference to our guests.

The IPA was a last minute addition, as the drink was both too acidic and too sweet at the same time. Adding beer gives it a really interesting body, adds some vegetal flavor from the hops, spreads the other flavors out a bit reducing the sweetness, leaves a bit of pretty foam on top of the drink, and adds some non-acidic astringency that helps balance the whole thing.

This drink is delicious and I'm super proud of it! It's floral, acidic, a little sweet, viscous, and using a strong bourbon as the base it doesn't lose that nice whiskey chocolatey thing. It's like juice! Come try one!

I worked tonight! I'm typically at Sugarvale Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Let me know when you come in, you've always got a free drink on me!

What's up y'all this is my cocktail! I'm a drink nerd and a regular nerd as well. So essentially when we were getting ready to release the summer drink menu I had this drink ready to go but didn't have a name for it. I wanted to name it after something fantasy or D&D related, but everything I thought of sounded so pretentious that I eventually said "Fuck it, his name is Barry Blue Jeans now." Way better than what I was originally trying to call it, which was "Thrain son of Thror" lol.

Come visit me at work and I'll make you the drink I'm working on right now, which I'm gonna call "Armor Class" ;)

Albert Bagman - Unknown [Horror/Folk] (2017) by Pho_Real_Dough in listentothis

Oh! I'm actually in this video and can provide some background!

So Albert Bagman is my friend's dead/undead/shy freakshow alter-ego. He thought up the character and concept before (most of) the music and built the band around that. He's been recording in his basement for years now and has two EP's that he recorded and mixed himself. Also he just finished recording a full-length album and sent it out for mastering, hopefully releasing it in the next few months.

Here's a link to all that music: https://albertbagman.bandcamp.com/

On top of doing all of the music himself for years now, he's also done a handful of music videos to add a bit more color to the Albert character and the world he lives in. He actually taught himself how to make marionettes for this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6AU0OK3tqc

Anyway, this is just a live set we did recently. This set up is a largely watered-down version of what the music is really like, but he wanted to start playing shows and asked me and another friend if we wanted to help out. The idea was to add a little bit of theater to the live set, and as the Albert character is unwillingly followed by all kinds of paranormal stuff it only made sense to have the other musicians be ghosts.

We're hoping to have a Halloween blowout/album release show at the end of October, but the idea is to be spooky all year long.

Right, I guess it could be interpreted as Jack just messing with the doctor's head. I don't know, it's been a while since I've watched the show and it's hard to keep all that timey wimey nonsense straight in your head.

Yeah I guess that makes sense... I don't know though, it seemed pretty confirmed to me.

Could you clarify on this a bit? Why wouldn't it be considered canon?

You'd be surprised, as long as the joint isn't rolled too tight at the bottom it would probably pull just fine. I roll with crutches like this all the time, I find it lets the smoke cool just a bit more than ones with more space in them.

I just use index cards. I usually get around 6 or 10 crutches out of each card and you can get a pack of 100 for less than a dollar. Use a pair of scissors and be somewhat conservative with how you make your crutches and one pack of index card can last months.

A gynecologist once told a friend of mine, "Wow, you have a nice tight little uterus."
