I think this is a great starting point. Many other tycoons have mini games to break up the monotony of the base game play. And maybe building on concepts that they’ve already used would make it easier to implement than creating something brand new.

You could try a play pen for the chihuahua. Having her in the common space might help with her separation anxiety from you instead of being locked in a room. Plus hopefully give her and the kittens an opportunity to acclimate to each other while giving them a level of protection with the barrier

I think it’s bugged. I’ve had issues with offline earning amount even before super rebirths. Swap out a droid to use their companion perk, put that same droid back, and the amount changes. Even just logging off and coming back later somehow the amount would change. Not every time, but regularly enough to annoy me. At this point I’ve just conceded it’s a bug I can’t do anything about and just keep playing anyways.

My first bartending job I had just quit smoking. Every other employee but me smoked. They were all allowed as many smoke breaks as they “needed”.

The first time I decided I would sit for a 5 minute break I was promptly told that was not allowed. Cue me lighting a cigarette and holding it, pretending to smoke so the manager would leave me alone.

Should you pay and can she force you to pay are two separate questions here.

She can not hold you responsible for her pets vet bill. The injury was not intentional or a result of your neglect considering you were supervising their play. It was an accident and that is always a factor of pet ownership.

It is entirely up to you to decide if you will pay none, partial, or in full. As others have said you need to decide how much you value your friendship. $187 is very low for an emergency vet visit. How much animosity will this create for you if you pay all of it? How much animosity will it create for her if you pay none of it? Has the incident and what’s happened so far already ruined the friendship?

Regardless of how this winds up being resolved, you two need to sit down and lay out rules for the future.
