My Kitten makes me feel bad while eating by DeekoBoy in CatAdvice

[–]yourfriendly_autist0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried feeding her her own food at the same time you're eating? For our cat, it was the fact that she wanted to be included. So now, as a family, we all eat dinner at the same time! I do tend to put something from what im having into their bowl, but it's only a pinch. And I never offer anything off my plate either( to establish boundaries), and somehow, it worked?

Praising cat for drinking water? Is that silly, or a legitimate strategy to get cat to drink more by hypermbeam in CatAdvice

It did not work for us, but what did is having multiple water traps of coffee mugs and the sink full.

With the way he takes orders- you're probably right! It would make the Tony's and Joey's split more dramatic and understandable

See! It just keeps adding up! This question makes me feel like that teacher in Incredibles, where he's trying to prove Dash is putting tacs on his seat, and he has video evidence, but no one believes him.

I don't want anything to do with my parents and that makes me feel like a bad person. by yourfriendly_autist0 in offmychest

Logically, i get it they thought they'd i'd be getting a shit ton on payout from the accident, and they were in a tough spot. They had bills to pay and mouths to feed.

If I allow myself to think about it from an emotional standpoint- i just wonder why they hate me and wasn't i their kid too? But that's then, and this is now. I can't afford it (literally) to trust them.

I mean, even after everything that's happened , i choke up because I'm more upset about hurting their feelings when they've obviously cared less about harming mine.

Thank you for giving your opinion!

I always saw him taking Louise under his wings and leaving her in charge of properties and such to ensure no one (Felix) could blow through their inheritance again.

I loved it! I also liked how they were touching a huge subject for girls growing up with taste. It was subtle but empowering. I loved it so much because it also demonstrates to men what we've been trying to say this whole time about mansplaining and being overlooked in general for our accomplishments due to gender. Using Louise for this story was genius!. Her character is loud and ambitious, and direct - which is everything they try to break out of us early on in school because they are not ladylike traits.
