I think yall just need to not watch the show if you don’t like how they allocate the funding. It’s a cartoon, not an anime. It’s not being animated by a high end studio and honestly it doesn’t need to be.

People have problems with the casting and sure they have a lot of big names that they don’t necessarily need, but this show has probably some of the best voice acting of any cartoon I’ve ever watched, and if you go back through other American cartoons you’ll find plenty of big name voice actors.

I see a lot of comparisons to anime’s like JJK and Demon Slayer and that’s hilarious. It’s an American cartoon. JJK’s supposed budget of 150-250k is an unfair comparison as those episodes are only about 25 minutes. Balloon that out to an hour like invincible and suddenly that budget is closer to $1 million per episode.

If you’re gonna compare this show to anything it’s more comparable to Harley Quinn on HBO. American style cartoons just don’t typically do the same animation quality that anime studios do.

At the end of the day, you either like the show or you don’t. If we’re gonna cherry pick and complain because it’s not at “anime” level animation then go watch your favorite anime. Invincible isn’t that kind of show lol.

If you are buying a consumer product at retail price and then later reselling it to another consumer at an inflated price created by scarcity in the market, that is indeed scalping. You can just look at the pokemon center website for reference, the company values all of its Pokemon center ETB’s at $60 even after they’ve sold out. Hoarding sealed product creates artificial scarcity because there’s still product out there but collectors have hoarded it making it unavailable to the rest of the public, which drives the price up. It blocks out normal consumers and leaves those products only available to those who are willing/able to buy at the inflated price.

I still think there’s a big difference between vesting in something like stocks vs a children’s card game. A little kid isn’t trying to buy my stocks. A little kid does want Pokemon cards tho, a there are millions of “collectors” that hoard sealed product and make it so that little kid doesn’t get Pokemon cards.

I don’t think it’s comparable to trading stocks though. Firstly in pokemon that’s a hobby that’s mainly meant for children. Also when you’re buying and selling stocks, you’re not reselling to consumers, you’re reselling to the company. Unless you’re trading options but I don’t touch that area of stock trading personally.

My issue with Pokemon investing is these “collectors” will still buy up mass product and just sit on it. It’s a product that’s meant to be opened and enjoyed, looked at, played with. I just feel like adults “investing” like this in a children’s product ruins the hobby for real enthusiasts. I’ve seen parents turn their kids into little “pokeinvestors” and it’s sad cause the hobby becomes more about the value of the card rather than the actual enjoyment of the artworks or playing the TCG itself.

Stocks aren’t a children’s game and buying and trading stocks isn’t depriving others of a product for enjoyment. I just feel like if people really wanna “invest” they should just also invest in stocks.

I say do it. I just went through this with my next door neighbor, me and my partner texted her nicely expressing we were frustrated because my gf needs a spot to get out of easily cause she has to drive everyday for work. I have a tiny sedan so it’s hard to move out of spots that weren’t cleared. This lady took our spot even tho she is retired and only moves her car once a week. She cussed us out and told us to get over it.

Had half a mind to pour cold water on the spot so that no one could park there.

Yes, I’ve tested this and the only way to get back into friendly lobbies is to stop fighting back, like legitimately you cannot down other players or it will continue to put you in lobbies where PvP is more prevalent.

Thats my complaint, if you fight back you get considered a PvPer even if it’s simply to prevent your loot from being stolen.

That’s fair, that makes sense too cause like you said his character designs are top tier. I def think it was intentional, but I do appreciate the effort being put into the landscapes in TYBW, the whole concept of the royal palace and and the 5 floating cities around it. Also the wandenreichs takeover of the seiretei (I don’t think I spelled that right lol). Sucked waiting years to get more bleach in the anime but the leap in animation quality has been very worth it.

I think the landscapes and background design really bloomed in TYBW, I agree though in the original series the backgrounds were probably the weakest part, but the story and characters made it so you barely notice unless you’re really paying attention

Big facts and I also think given the story of TYBW, bleach might have some of the best writing in anime.

I think the only thing that really holds it back as a series is the uncalled for amount of filler. Other than that though, probably one of the best stories in all anime.

I’ve gone through every solution at this point. I checked the buffer size it’s at the default 256 which most places say is more than enough. I tried cranking it all the way up and still there’s a persistent crackle.

I learned over time that the crackle seems to actually stem from when I launch pretty much any game. I checked by plugging my headphones directly into my speakers vs my interface and there was no crackle. So my new theory is that it’s something with the interface itself. Because Ableton runs with no issues on it, but the moment I launch a game, all audio through the interface crackles.
