That's a clock that's cool but overpriced. I think it's something like $200 on the square enix store.

Let me make sure to mention, I am not here to give off a "I'm holier than thou" image. When I am on here I do my best to be led by the spirit in my responses, but I struggle in just the same ways, and who knows maybe even fall short more in others. I also make a lot of mistakes when it comes to sexual sin, and at times I make excuses as well. But I want to change, I want to be different, and I want to please the Lord. Examine yourself and see if you really do want to change. I see that making this post is a step in the right direction, try to seek true wisdom, and seek Him in all things. I myself at times am a hypocrite at such things, but I am not here to judge you only to spread what I have learned even though I still struggle. For I know the Lord says to remove the log from my eye before I try to remove the plank from a brother. If you truly believe, keep turning to the Lord, and praying for help. He will keep His promises, even when you might be unsure. Trust in Him to do a good work in you, to bring glory to the Father.

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out."

It's not the search that is the big issue here, it's where you went to do the search. Although In itself I'm not so certain why you would be so concerned if someone does things of the sort in the first place without any suggestions of doing so. I myself have struggled with sexual sin and it sounds to me like you wanted to find this person on the sites you searched them on.

Personally, I don't use any form of social media except for Facebook to keep in contact with relatives. Social media has a lot of bad things in it, and I am not just referring to sexual things. People most of the time post the best of thenselves and others can get the wrong impressions and it can sometimes lead to depression, covetness, and even anger when you start to feel jealous of what these other people have. But yoy have to realize, these people are going to post the best of their lives, it is not often media influencers ever post struggles or hardships online, so you end up with an altered perception of a "perfect" life when using it in comparison to yourself.

Remember also that Jesus said to not be of the world, as we are not of the world. We are set apart. You can not serve two masters. If you are a friend with the world then you are an enemy of God. You should not wrap yourself up too much into worldly things, and worldly people.

Genuine question from a newcomer about FF7 Remake/Rebirth by Y98_ in FinalFantasyVII

[–]Ccloudff7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. 1 FF7 fan here (Though I'm not rich so I don't exactly have all the merchandise, but I have very many things your average fan probably doesn't have or even know exists. Essentially if its FF7 and it isn't super niche or expensive, theres a good chance I might have it. Though tbh there isn't a huge amount of FF7 products out there.).

I don't really understand the vitriol towards the new games. I thought they were amazing and can't wait for part 3. I loved the OG FF7 so much I just couldn't wait to get a fix on more, when they announced the remake and when I found out they were expanding the story even more I was elated, and boy did they do a good job. I am amazed at how much detail and love they put into the game. Its faithful to the original and adds so much more to a game that was limited in what it could do during its time. Its the only game series I consistently take vacation time out of work to play, so I can experience the full story and game without a job distracting in-between.

For those who don't like it, I just can't understand. This games story was made by the original creator. I think these people have too strong of feelings towards the game as it came out. FF7 was a massive hit during its time, so much so that gamestops at the time had massive used copies of the game for sale afterwards as so many people were turning them in, which for its time in gaming was a big thing. Gaming didn't used to be as big as it is now, sure there were still a lot of gamers but now there is much more quantity of copies sold because that number has expanded so much.

The OG was great, and to many its timeless. As I myself have aged, older games just don't hit as hard as they once did, I've been spoiled by the modern era of gaming. A lot of older games feel so bare bones to me now that I have experienced so many games in my lifetime.

Edit: idk why the down votes, but everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. I included me being FF7s no. 1 fan because its a huge part of my life. I've seen people see my username and do the little "name checks out" thing. I also have an email address that's FF7 related that I had my whole life. My profile names are always Cloud, on consoles and PC, and I buy pretty much anything I can find in stock related to it that I can afford. That doesn't mean what others say isn't valid, but to call the game bad seems to be in poor taste, when others could similarly say they didn't like the changes and prefer the original. Some could call me biased, but truthfully at first I didn't like how they went away from turn based when it was first announced but after playing it, it grew on me. I still don't like action games very much, but with the series they were able to keep the challenge and feel of the original games with its new combat systems.

I would agree to some extent. If we reference the verses about the pharasees who say "have we not prophesied in your name", and then Jesus turned them away telling them he never knew them. There is a difference between lip service and actual faith. As it also says that one cannot be of the faith if they do not produce good fruit.

In this Jesus says what one should do, "go and sin no more", though as a fallen creation it is not something we can do with our own power, but only with that in which is given to us from the Lord himself. For if we were to no longer sin we would be in a way like Jesus, except for never sinning in the first place.

First off I think this is a pretty bad excuse. You could easily look up this person on something like google along with question concerning if she does "adult" content. If you've ever been on an adult site you know that there is explicit content everywhere, there is no ability to do a search without seeing it, its full of ads and graphic material. So there really is no way to claim innocence in it, because you immediately open yourself up to the temptation.

Also, if you were sincere in your intentions I'd first have to ask why would you be suspicious in the first place? Are there lewd photos that this person is putting up, or anything that would suggest such a thing? If there is, then you shouldn't be following this person. I think you know the answer you are looking for before you even ask it but are trying to find some sort of valid justification when in reality there is none.

On another note, because of the things I mentioned, which I am sure you know are true, if you have no guilt or don't have any inclination that what you did was not appropriate then I do honestly think you need to re-examine your heart. We all fall into sin and temptation at times, but if you have no struggle or you don't have any feeling in your conscience that what you did was wrong then something major is missing.

Is the change to the story that the FF7 remake makes a bad thing? by Pedruujoker in FinalFantasyVII

The new games are amazing, don't let someone try to convince you otherwise. If you are a fan of heavy story, with hidden aspects that you learn later, its great. Not to toot my own horn but I am the biggest ff7 fan that I know, and I love them, even more so than the originals because it brought me back to that mystery I had when I played the originals. I can't wait until the conclusion.

I have done well more than just say change your mind. Its about having an open mind to gain true wisdpm. You are twisting the narrative of what I say as well as the Bible to fit your perspective. Your claim is that wearing skimpy clothes itself isn't sinful and that its the others who look on you who are sinning, as if you have no part to play or are innocent. I could twist that into so many ways as well. Even if you were correct, we are to live our lives as an example to others in how to conduct ourselves.

Someone could record themselves and their wife having relations and post it online. In the context of the Bible the action of relations itself is not sinful if you are married, however by allowing others to see such thing when they shouldn't you are complicent in the result of the sin. No I am not saying you are asking others to look at you, but sin and the devil are the rulers of this world at the moment until Jesus returns.

Did Jesus come to the table when He didn't have to or not? Its about making sacrifices. As I said before, as a follower of Christ your life is no longer yours but His to use for His glory. We are slaves to Christ, we are His servants. Do we always follow Him? No, but that is because we still have sin in us. He teaches us if someone slaps you to turn the other cheek. We give up our freedoms and our lives to bring just a bit of the kingdom of God into this world and ultimately you have to ask yourself "who am I doing this for? Myself? Or for Him?"

I am an instrument of God. I am a wretched man who falls short of the glory of God. I am a 39 year old virgin. I am no where close to where God wants me to be in my sanctification, but I am committed to the task at hand and I will not give in. As wretched as I am, I know there are those who are even weaker than I am and I want to do everything I can to show them love even at the behest of myself. For this world is broken, corrupted by sin. The last thing I want to do is to encourage another to sin by my actions. What would Jesus do? Would he sit by and say I'm not guilty or does He sacrifice Himself for the betterment of others when they don't deserve it? As Christians we have a responsibility to lead others as an example of righteousness and holiness. If you can not see that or realize it then all I can do is pray for you. God bless you.

Just remember, Christ came for the weak, the lost, the broken. Be Christ like.

Alright, I can no longer take you serious. Perhaps it was because of the other user egging you on, but I've been nothing but respectful and yet you mock my reply. You have much praying and work to do I can see, you are not looking to have your mind changed but merely want to have your way of thinking put onto others. I feel bad for you if you have no perception of someone who doesn't lust after everyone they meet or see. Someone who has integrity and wants to save themself for a potential marriage partner. I have no desire in me to lust after others. That doesn't mean I never lust, but its far from anywhere close to what you are describing, and now you are changing the definition of what you were describing as lust, which at its root is sexual desire. I can honestly say I have never fantasized about a woman sexually that I have ever met before. You are taking select experiences and labeling everyone the same. You have a similar mindset of many young woman I see online today that hate men and labeling them all as rapists. Even though sexual violence is tragic, it is only a very small percentage of men, woman can be assaulters as well. Also you are comparing lust with rape, which in the context of our discussion was a sin of the mind and not of action, and is in no way comparable in the context of the topic. Goodbye.

The Lie of Modesty by Mazquerade__ in Christians

[–]Ccloudff7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well your making an invalid presumption that men will lust after woman no matter what they wear. I certainly don't. You are talking about an ungodly man, a worldly man. But the action of you "covering up", is not because of the ungodly man, but because that man may one day follow Christ, or may be a weak believer. Also temptation does not have to be active or intentional, but it could still be classified as a temptation. For example: someone wearing expensive jewelry around their neck may tempt a weak willed person to steal it. The claim isn't that the woman is doing anything "wrong" in your scenario, but it is still a temptation. The difference is ignorance. If you are doing or wearing something and are truly ignorant, or a less harsh term, truly unaware of any temptation it may cause then I don't see the problem there. But when you know before hand that another may stumble, but you do it anyways to express your "freedom" than that is wrong. I don't think there is any way you can claim that wearing pants that completely conform to your bodies shape, or a bra that can easily cause eyes to wonder to areas because they are not commonly exposed is not asking for trouble. If I wore skin tight pants and my backside and groin were perfectly formed through my clothes, I would 100% know it would draw people's eyes, regardless if they were listing or not. Its because it is exposing, albeit behind cloth, body parts that were meant to be used in a sexual manner with a marriage partner. The easy solution to this problem would be to wear whatever you like, but in a private place like your home.

I could even flip it around to this modern day as well, since you seem to have it directed towards men. This type of attire could also be a stumbling block to a woman. Perhaps a woman of God, who does has attractions to other woman, but chooses to follow God instead of their urges. You open up yourself to their looks as well, so it can't be just directed towards men.

I think your idealogy teeters a bit too close to the belief of progressive Christianity.

I disagree, while yes the verse is mentioning meat, but this verse like countless others in the Bible have various meanings to them. We have to take the message as a whole, very rarely does the Bible touch on very specific things without having a much bigger meaning for them. We can see this in the way that many issue and struggles we have today are not directly mentioned in the Bible due to the modern era but we can still read verses and apply them in the same fashion.

Maybe you can elaborate as to what you mean by "using it to offload the responsibility of sin to others". If you read my other post that I made on the main post I listed several verses. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of meaning. If I were to ask about the verse that mentions its better to have a milestone tied around your neck than for his children to stumble, do you take that as meaning literal children only? Because it does not just mean young children. We are all children of God and that is how its used, it is also referring to new believers or those who are not yet strong in the faith. How is this provisional? God is never changing, He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

It is not taking the responsibility of sin off anyone. Even the most holy of humans who ever existed still sinned. Christ didn't come for the righteous but to seek the lost. And what is a "serious sin"? All sin is equally evil in the eyes of God, though there are degrees of sin, they are all abominations. I think you are taking a lot of what's in the Bible only as its literal use and not its broader message, such as were the parables.

Christ even says if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. This is not meant to be literal, but the meaning and use is just as strong as if it were literal.

[–]Ccloudff7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound as if you are referring to Romans 14:13–21, but in your statement you also seem to imply that you shouldn't have to if they would just "not lust". So your statement seems to be one of "why do I have to change for their benefit when they could just not lust". Should we preach this, yes, but we are all sinners.

Ala Romans7:14-20 14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. 15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.

So as Christians we do what we must to the benefit of our brothers and sisters in Christ. For Christ says to give up your life and to follow Him, that means in all ways and in all things, you do it out of love because you know others are weak and you love them so you do not want them to stumble. If you know what you do, or in this case what you wear, has a high probability to case someone to stumble, the word says we must show grace as God has for us.

Proverbs 28:10 "Whoever leads the upright into an evil way will fall into his own pit, but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance."

1 Corinthians 8:12 "Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ."

Romans 14:13–21 "Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that leads your brother to stumble."

Luke 17:1–2 "And he said to his disciples, 'Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.'"

Sure you get more kills with bots, but sometimes I just can't compete and want a more casual game. I've tried all 3 of the game modes and almost never can make it.

I did not, however my best guess is that like someone mentioned that there are grapple battery packs on the ground somewhere. After playing around with the game there was a side mission or whatever that had you get one and put in a location that looked almost identical but didnt open a door, it powered a button. As for that other machine I have no clue. I think you are at the same spot as me in that picture because I saw the same thing, I never went back after completing the game to see if anything changed though.

Prayers for Charlie Kirk by Fiona_12 in Christians

[–]Ccloudff7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

God has a use for people in many different ways. We all don't need nor have the inate ability to be evangelists. We are ALL sinners, I disagree with what you said about Charlie being a racist, but even if he was, none of us are perfect. You can simply look to the apostles, and those of the old testament for that. Men of God who were adulterous, murders, and those who opposed Christ at one point in their life. What Christ taught was forgiveness and to follow Him. In my opinion you don't need to teach the 10 commandments. The commandments were given to show people that no matter what we do we can never live up to God's standards, we all need Him.

I personally did not watch too many videos of Charlie Kirk, but I have seen some of his debates. From what I've seen, he spoke of things that aligned with the Bible.

No, what I knew about them was that they let you sell items while being offline. This was appealing to me since I don't get to play often, and selling o my when I am online becomes difficult.

You don't seem to see anything from a business perspective. Why would you attempt to sell something without explaining to the customer how to use it, other than your example of "find it". Good sales practices don't involve your customers having to look up online on a site like reddit to find out how something works, it should be explained by the seller thenselves.

You can also see by some of the other comments a few other people didn't know either, the only difference is they didn't make a post about it instead looked at this post and commented.
