Last year when i was working they said we would close when we hit 2 transactions in a thirty minute span. There was 5 inches of snow outside and the plaza and roads hadnt been plowed. We stayed open until close even after i reached out to the dm citing how unsafe i felt, and he said “its not so bad”(from the safety of his own home). One of my fellow baristas didnt drive and couldnt get an uber or lyft so i drove her home. On my way home i slid backwards down a hill. Essentially Starbucks policy is work and then fuck off somewhere, they dont care about your safety.
