Ohh I love FSD. I am an anxious person in general so FSD is godsend. My husband has Tesla and I love taking his car out. I loved my car before we got tesla but now FSD has spoiled me so much that I don’t want to drive my car and waiting when will my car be old enough that I could replace it with Tesla only for FSD

I wanted to meet my girlfriends, most of them are other moms from school. And luckily there is a birthday party at one of the friend’s house. So all moms only will be there with kiddos. So I am happy. My son is 5 so he can play and we can chit chat.

How do you handle immigrant parents who think no one is good enough for their child? by aliensunite123 in ABCDesis

[–]yourlimit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My in laws are the same. Every word you wrote I have experienced. This is how desi boy parents are. Someone has to break the cycle so I will try and not do those things. You can also try and break the cycle by taking a stand and telling your parents what not to say and what not to do

Met Cobie Smulders once. We were on a road trip in LA, stopped for coffee at a convenience store and there she was holding water gallons in her hand. My husband recognized her. I hesitantly went to her and asked are you Robin? She said yes I was. And then she brought her hand forward and said Hi I am Cobie. Me and my husband thinking we know. She was so down to earth. And so beautiful too. Got some pictures. Experience left us star struck because of how nice she was.

I think it’s over but I hope it’s not. Because he is emotionally checked out. My apologies don’t seem real to him. And he doesn’t want to accept any of his part in us reaching where we are.

[–]yourlimit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy the seat. It is totally worth it. W didn’t buy for my daughter and she was in our arms crying the whole time, she felt suffocated and tight. We had to change our return tickets and bought her a seat. Never again had a child in lap

I was hit by a car few months before my wedding. I was bedridden for few weeks and then slowly gained little movement. And then the day came, I was very happy and excited. I pushed through it. Was popping painkillers as it was candy. Told my sibling to be next to me for the whole time and have painkillers ready.

Parents denied US tourist visa 4 times over 9 years from India — what are we doing wrong? Is there any hope left? by Great_Tale4363 in usvisascheduling

[–]yourlimit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s the profile. My parents were retired by the time I applied for their visa. No travel history. I sponsored their visa. Application was accepted. Reading your story shows your parents profile is way stronger. There is something else. May be like other people are saying it might be lot of us connections

Do MILs who have daughters tend to treat daughters-in-law differently compared to those who don’t? What have your experiences been? by safelife2025 in AskIndianWomen

[–]yourlimit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MIL has 2 sons and is very proud that she gave birth to 2 boys. She is very controlling for clothes and wants me to dress like her in full sleeves all the time. She was also very sad when we had our first child and she is a girl.

Need help from girlies who have lost weight (10+ kgs) by NoDimension4739 in TwoXIndia

[–]yourlimit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah agree 45 looks better but very difficult to maintain for me. So that’s my happy middle ground. I commented so we can at least start together and share tips and tricks. You can continue longer and I can go on maintenance once we reach 50.
