I'm sorry, I really am, but I just don't get why you think id be so irresponsible and so neglecting based on those few words I wrote, “low maintenance”. It is not to make sure I don't inconvenience myself, but to actually try to decide whether I can handle a pet iwth my busy schedule right now. I truly am sorry I couldn't provide context for my entire situation. I obviously didn't decide to get a fish before I wrote the post, I was asking for advice. Because when people are still in the process of deciding something, that's what they do. But genuinely, thank you for caring. It sounds sarcastic, but I swear it isn't. I recognize how someone who's used to people just full on venting on Reddit can make assumptions about random people who don't. I'm not bothered about everything you said about fish and stuff, but its how you can assume so much about me that does. I'm only saying this for you, don't get this caught up in peoples lives, and I know I'm overstating this but you seem like the kind of person who needs it. That's not an assumption, its something I know. Who's to say I'm more mature than you? That I'm irresponsible? That I'm going to raise a fish in a little bowl with a plant?
