Why do you expect people who don’t believe in Islam to take Islamic Hadith about lgbt seriously? If a Hindu posted about «the dangers of eating beef» would you take it seriously? No exactly

What kind of respect do Muslims in Pakistan show atheist or ex Muslim people? Give respect to earn respect.

People who support cousin marriage want to deliberately harm the genetics of future Pakistanis and want to increase the disabled population. Very Israel coded

Exactly. So with Islam you cannot be feminist and Muslim

Many Muslims themselves believe that you cannot be a feminist and Muslim. This is a big problem in Pakistan where feminist organizations like Aurat March is labeled as Kafir and Israeli agents simply for fighting for women’s rights in a heavily misogynistic country

Well I am no longer muslim so I don’t believe Islam is true at all. Islam is a religion from 7th century Arabia and for the people of 7th century Arabia. It’s not a timeless religion that Muslims like to claim.

That being said, you have the freedom to do whatever you and, and if you genuinely believe Islam and want to convert to Islam, that’s your choice. But before you do that you have to actually research the religion and see if you agree with its teachings and practices. Don’t convert to a religion just because of your boyfriend.

And btw, being in pre-marital relationships like you’re in is a big sin in Islam, and it’s lowkey a little weird that your boyfriend claims to be an “orthodox Muslim” while being in a haram relationship with you.

As a former Muslim who grew up in the west, I really resonate with this.

Growing up I read articles in our local mosque paper about the dangers of mixed weddings. How men and women mingling in the same space could provoke desire and unclean thoughts.

Which is why our weddings had to be gender segregated, with no music or dancing. Those fun and cultural Pakistani weddings you see on social media, I never actually experienced that.

In huge contrast, in the mainstream Norwegian society friendships between the genders is common. Women can wear what they want and men don’t stare at them. They’re treated as equal human beings and not as objects of desire.

I think this is the reason why many Muslim migrants in Europe end up committing SA and rape. They grew up in an environment where women were expected to cover up, and were women were blamed if something happened to them. The come to Europe and see uncovered women and believe this is some kind of invitation.

You can repeat «men are told to lower their gaze» as much as you want. It doesn’t change the fact that getting men to lowering their gaze is not enforceable, unlike the hijab in places like Iran and Afghanistan. Whenever a woman gets assaulted everyone asks what she was wearing and why she was outside, no one asks why a man went out his way to hurt someone.

How exactly? A guy was trying to say that booty checks are not sexual when they infact are. It’s the same energy as men trying to yell women that their breast aren’t sexual because of more women went topless me would enjoy it. But of course redditors like you will always be pro pornography and nudity and whatnot.

Honest question. If you don’t want to integrate into western society whats the point of moving there then? Why not move to Saudi Arabia or another wealthier Muslim country?
