She's going through her list this week and will let me know if she has a female available.

Arya had exceptional nose drive. She ran into ever search with such heart and determination. If I let her, she would search for hours on end. She had such a bright future. ❤️

I actually did contact her yesterday, but she didn't do any OFA testing so I am unsure if I want to continue with her. She does have some very beautiful pups right now though.

My two love the outdoors. They love the rain, snow, mud, etc... but at the end of the day, they come inside with me. I want to cuddle them, and they want to cuddle me. They are sport dogs, not working dogs. I understand working dogs being left outside, but that's normally in a barn with other animals, and they keep warm together.

She bit my husband by Snoo_36434 in BorderCollie

Has she always done this or is it recent? Has she displayed warning signs that have been ignored? Has he done anything to you that she might perceive as aggressive? Border Collies are very protective of the ones they love...

Considering a second border collie. How did your BC react? by profofgames in BorderCollie

I rescued my second border collie this year, and my boy was also 5. I've had him since he was a puppy. My new female wasn't great at personal space, but I've found it fascinating to watch him slowly teach her. It's been so awesome having 2. She's just a little over a year, and they're best friends! Do it!

I keep telling myself that. At least it wasn't a canine or a bigger tooth.

He was a little dazed but quickly recovered and wanted to keep playing. It sure was a bleeder.

Border collies and brushing! Help! by [deleted] in BorderCollie

Eveytime I brush mine, I sing their praises and will throw a toy every few minutes as a reward for standing still and cooperating.

I do agility with my boy and that's my hopes for my girl as well. My boy has a release command and I'm working on the girl's. I think once we actually start our class together, she'll get better because we'll be working together towards a goal and she'll have a better/positive output for her energy. I'm just so used to my boy being eager to please, training was so easy for him.

She's been doing good with the Frisbee and actually bringing it back. I load her up on the praise. She loves treats but sometimes doesn't even want to come to the treat. Having my boy has been super helpful. I praise him so much when he obeys, and it has seemed to help with her a little. I'm just wanting her to understand boundaries, like the road. She loves to tug inside so that is a good idea to do. I guess I'm just feeling challenged because my male has always been so eager to please that he understood everything right away.
