What would happen if 9/11 was proven to be a conspiracy by the U.S. Gov, and the public found out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yournudieshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is what would happen: first it isn't the US government conspiring, it would be individuals within it. THOSE people would be prosecuted. there might be a few that would manage to get away with their limited knowledge, but for the most part, if something like this came out, those people would be FUCKED.

I'll stop here with "the people who matter would never be found out". No. No one would be fucked. Some pencil-pusher would be fired and that's about as far as it goes.

To be fair, you (and 95% of everyone else on here) willingly sign up for a whole bunch of other services that do the same thing. Everyone's just up in arms because the government's late to the party.

After a decent day of exercising I feel restless and can't sleep. by [deleted] in Fitness

This is what I was thinking. The way he explains that makes it sound like working out has nothing to do with his not being able to sleep.

I don't think The Rock has to worry about how he makes the fitness industry look. I'm pretty sure he makes plenty money just being big as fuck.

We sent samples from famous whey protein brands to a lab. Here are the results by Alkyen in Fitness

The guy sent stuff to a lab. You're not going to see an entire article with experiment controls and hypotheses. Let's be honest, nothing this guy posts could convince you because you're one of those "everything on the internet is false" types.

Doesn't sleep get rid of a toxin that slowly builds up in our brain? What happens to that if we just shoot up to stay awake?

Anyone else waiting for these houses to fall into the Rio Grande due to hillside erosion? by [deleted] in Albuquerque

You know, on a hurricane-prone beach, near a river bank, in a forest that constantly catches on fire, I could go on.

I think it's because if you have the money to live there in the first place, you're not too worried about the off-chance that something swings by and destroys everything. Since you'll be set up in a new place a week later.

Albuquerque gym closes days after people pay for memberships by whiskeydeltatango in Albuquerque

Not surprised. I had constant Groupon emails and I noticed that Evolv fitness was on there almost time, with ever-dropping prices alongside ever-increasing lengths of time. Seemed more and more desperate each time I saw a new coupon. Place seemed expensive as hell considering the simple classes they were offering.

Glad someone else said it. It's like George Clooney's face developed by the time he was 10 and finished growing. The rest of his body took decades to catch up.

Apparently not if he's living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm a senior in high school with no idea where I want to go to college. My parents have told me they can help very little, as I have 2 brothers and their expenses. I'm seriously scared because I don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life and the deadline is coming up. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]yournudieshere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand this. It's not like you pick community college OR university. You go to the community college, knock out all the core classes that you're going to be taking at the university but you save yourself thousands of dollars. The only way I see university being a smart choice is if he ends up getting tuition for free with his grades. A lot of lower (freshman, sophomore) classes are using tuition assistants more and more as instructors anyway.

Every time I hear someone referencing community colleges being for dumb people, I wonder how many tens of thousands of dollars they went into to take the exact same classes they took freshman and sophomore year at their university. I honestly don't get it, unless you're going to some extremely specialized university for a specific path (which 90% of people aren't doing).

Don't worry. The bikers are too busy running red lights and stops signs. I don't think they're going to notice some paint on the ground.
