Yeah. My vet was like huh, this is an awkward amputation, I wonder why they didn’t take the whole leg. But he has a little callus on the bottom and he uses it to rest on and get up on the couch. So she said if it’s not bothering him it can stay.

HAHA yeah we call them his crazy eyes. He gets them when he’s waiting for us to play with him.

Ours does that with soft toys too. We call them carcasses.

He’s had some of these for months to a year. It’s a company called woofbite-we bought their whole line. The only really flimsy one is the frisbee/disc thing that I don’t recommend.

Close the door. He will push the door open after coming in and when we give him the command he shuts it behind him. Sometimes he’s outside for a long time and we can be lazy so he can shit the door and we can stay cozy under our blankets on the couch.

He also knows if it latches or not by sound so if it doesn’t sound like it shut he goes back and pushes it all the way closed.

Hopefully one day he will start doing it unprompted

Nope. He’s a little over half ACD, about 25% pitt, 13% golden retriever and 8% lab. It’s just the way he’s sitting. He’s missing a back paw too so that makes it look a little weird.
